Sparkshower 103 June 15, 2013 Share June 15, 2013 I just discovered the most superfantabulous most amazingly awesome, most brilliant thing EVER WE HAVE BRITISH BRONIES Oh my god I knew that the brony fanbase was big but i never realized that it had traveled ACROSS THE OCEAN man just knowing how big a fandom is that was originally meant to teach kids values of friendship makes me so happy and I just wanted to say thank you to Lauren Faust for making the latest fandom to grow to an international fanbase making it be right up there with Harry Potter. She turned an okay show into the best thing around And now a show I wouldn't have even looked at twice will be shown to my children and my grandchildren (when I actually have them XD)
Unikitty 1,212 June 15, 2013 Share June 15, 2013 I, what...?Yeah, it's a worldwide thing. Bronies ALLLLLL around the world. In Britain, all across Europe, down in Australia, everywhere.
Shanks 10,816 June 15, 2013 Share June 15, 2013 It is a good show that has birthed a truly amazing and creative fandom, plus American cartoons tend to be fairly popular overseas especially ones that are actually good. I heard that Japan even recently named Fluttershy as its official pony though if you ask me they picked a funny way of spelling Applejack, or were they trying to spell Twilight Sparkle or Luna? 3 Rarity Get's Cockroaches

~StatesTheOblivious~ 1,795 June 15, 2013 Share June 15, 2013 Germany here! And yes, we kinda spread. World Domination is according to plans! Bronies, Bronies everywhere! Hm? Bronies are weirdos? Watch an episode, man. One does not simply watch only one episode of FiM. What did you say? Twilicorn? Equestria Girls? Both destroying the fandom? HAHAHA!!! That's wishful thinking, you neighsayers! 2 "If men define situations as real, they are real in their consequences." - W. I. Thomas & D. S. PoniesPlease 365 June 15, 2013 Share June 15, 2013 How do some people not know we British Bronies exist? We have Europe's biggest pony convention in Manchester, for crying out loud! Seriously though, there is little to no difference between Britons and Americans.
Limey 524 June 15, 2013 Share June 15, 2013 Well, the brony fanbase thrives and is mainly based on the internet, and since the internet is worldwide, it's going to be inevitable that there are bronies from all over the world, not just in the US or here in Britain. I can say with some degree of certainty that most of us here only found out about MLP because of people talking about it on the internet, rather than stumbling across it by chance on the hub (not to say you don't watch it on the hub now.) 2 "I disapprove of what you say, but I will defend to the death your right to say it"

Seriously though, there is little to no difference between Britons and Americans. I didn't know because I wasn't even on MLP forums untill like several days ago so it's only reasonable that I was unaware of how far the fandom had spread, until joining mlp forums My knowledge of the fanbase was limited, I just wanted to say how awesome it was
Fluttershyfan94 5,742 June 16, 2013 Share June 16, 2013 I find it amazing that I even became one, there is no Hub here. So it was through boomerang that I found out about it. During the summer 2012. But didn't really pay attention to it untill 11th of november 2012. So I didn't become exposed to the fandom or the show untill then. It's worldwide, it's biggest in the US, Canada and Britain. Still it has spread everywhere, including my country Iceland. It's not big here though, but it's still decent considering that the internet and boomerang are the only places were I could find out about it. I had heard about it earlier on the internet though. I remember seeing a comment that said: brony = bros that like ponies. But I didn't pay any attention to it at the time, I could have become one of the first bronies. If I would have checked it out, but at the time it was just starting.. But it would have been nice if I would have checked it out earlier. 1 DA: http://fluttershyfan94.deviantart.com/ Youtube: http://www.youtube.com/user/Fluttershyfan94

Metemponychosis 1,261 June 16, 2013 Share June 16, 2013 I believe there are bronies everywhere. I'm from freaking Brazil and there is a forum with about 1000 members down here. They just don't "appear" much because English is not a very popular foreign language study to a lot. There is an official (atrocious) dubbed version of the show. And a lot of toy stores sell limited pony stuff. And we got Easter eggs with pony figures this year. So yeah... Ponies are taking over the world. XD 1 https://www.fimfiction.net/user/32864/Metemponychosis For dumb, self-important fics about mythology, ponies and fascist griffons that can't figure friendship out. And I'm just getting started.
