Rarity Drawing from Art Tablet (FIRST TIME!)

Alright, I decided to use my older brother's (Brisineo's) art tablet that he just got... wow is it FUN!!

 

I thought it was going to be hard until he just told me "use the air brush" which made everything so simple. This nice picture of Rarity (my favorite pony) took me 2 days to complete, and I am very proud of it!

 

 

This is my first time, so critiquing is much welcomed! Most of all, I'd like advice on how to make the lines smoother, but any other pointers would be very nice.

 

Expect to see more from me, because I think I'm in love with this tab now!!

If you didn't tell me you drew this, I though I would be looking at an image from the show. This is just fantastic! I mean...wow. Of course you should be proud. You got the tail perfect, which is hard.

Dang, can't believe that was done on a tablet. Nice job bruh. I really like how she's shaded if you just used paint (regular paint) it would just look plain but, this holy poop. Is fantastic! If you didn't do this, I would say don't use air brush for everything. Like the lines use like pencil or something.

I actually did use the pen tool for the lines, but I used the air brush tool for the filler. I just can't draw the lines smooth enough.

I'm slightly confused when people say "tablet" because well I'm no artist so how does that work? When you say tablet are you referring to an iPad or something like that? How do you use one? The Rarity looks awesome by the way! :3

He's refering to a drawing tablet. These are tablets specifically designed to make art in digital art programs, the most commonly used ones, are Wacom/Bamboo tablets.

When people refer to a tablet, they are referring to an accessory you can buy for your computer that consists of a screen on a rectangle with a stylus that you draw on; making drawing on a computer like  drawing with your hand on a piece of paper.

Beautiful pic, Nicely drawn and resented. I'd love to get an art tablet. Are they easy to learn to use? I just muddle around using old fashioned methods such as teh mouse.

Wow o-o, dude this is really awesome, I love the shinning Lightning it has to it, and it looks basically almost 100% show accurate on proportions and stuff(Atleast to me).

 

You did one heck of a job I think, those 2 days of work really show! . Awesome job dude, can't wait to see more!
