I can see a creepypasta being made out of eevee breeding. I can just imagine them eevee creepypastas that'll be made. XD

 

I was hoping they will be not as gift pokemon, but wild like in Black/White.

I'm not sure i can imagine any... but then again I don't really like or read creepypasta. Sure I hear about some famous ones, but i don't read them really .

If so i'd be fine with gender exclusive evolution, of course I still dunno if it'll happen.

 

I'd actually be more okay with this the other way around. If eevee comes as a gift then I can get my first sylveon relatively easy by just dealing with that 12.5% chance much quicker reseting, breeding would still be painfully slow though. If we go with catching eevee, assuming they are just as rare as before (5% encounter IIRC), you're looking at a 0.65% chance of encountering a female eevee and breeding still takes just as long as before  -_-

 

Of course this is hypothetical since I already have a female eevee. As long as I can transfer her, I'll be fine.

I guess you have a point. It partly depends how rare it is in the wild to i guess.

 

I have a feeling i'd run into the person who gives me eevee and not know he did and forget to save though xD, but maybe thats me.

 

I have several eeveelutions, and I always have a Dito thats on my HG, of course i haven't traded my pokemon over to B/W, partly because I don't have B/W or B/W 2 beat totally yet, but also because i kinda want to wait till I have another battle revolution or someething, because idk i just feel like I need a big screen incase i randomly feel inclinded to use my pokemon collection in 3D(Plus I want to get Battle Revolution beat so i get reap the rewards .)

 

So i'm hoping for a Wii U battle Revolution, or something like that rather, if you know what i mean.

 

As for transfers Nintendo better have transfers, especially since now i'm getting more obssesed with collecting pokemon, if i was unable to trade my collection over, i will be pretty ticked... .

 

The only time Nintendo shall be allowed to disallow transfers is after they reach the cap of 6000 something pokemon thats in place or whatever, even then I assume they can find a way around that unlike they did in Silver gold Red blue and the original G1 and g2 games, where they only had 256 slots or whatever, thus causing some error with transfering pokemon.

 

Plus pokemon storage took alot of extra memory in the newer g3 games i think.

I am so freaking hyped for X and Y, personally I'm getting x because I like how clauncher and xerneas look, I don't really like how swirlix looks but I don't plan on using spritzee or swirlix anyways. I'm getting froakie because I always stick with the water starters, except for that one time in heart gold when I picked chikorita out of impulse then immediately regretted it. I'm hoping that the starters evolve in a kind of loop where all the starters are strong against each other, fennekin is confirmed to learn psychic so it could be fire psychic, chespin seemed to use dark slash in the first trailer so it could be grass dark, and froakie doesn't have hard evidence of being water fighting but that would make it fit in the loop. That's what I hope happens at least, I actually think they'll be fire psychic, water flying, and grass rock. On a competitive level of pokemon I'm super hype as well, dragons have always been amazing pokemon except for druddigon and altaria really (even those dragons dominate their lower tiers) so fairy should help balance it out, especially if it resists dragon. I'm pumped for X and Y to. It'll be the first thing i get on my 3DS. 

 

I like Yvetals design personally, but i'll have to see the other exclusives to be sure. Not totally sure yet.

 

I like water types, but i don't pick water starters alot really . Although I use to like mudkip alot as a kid, but Treeko quickly became my fav, leaving Cyndaquil the only time I don't prefer the grass starter really(Although playing Fire red i'm starting to get some love for the other starters.)

 

Tottadile is actually kinda eh to me before the special physical split, but he still gets the job done, hes just so much better in newer generations.

 

And Fennekin has been confirmed to learn Psychic? well then I'd be betting pretty good its part Psychic. 

 

As for Chespin its possible its dark, and Froakie idk.

 

I think its still most speculation, but evidence is there thats pretty good, so who knows.

 

Hopefully we get official word from nintendo soon.

 

Dragon types as a type are kinda OP I agree, Fairy will be a nice addition. Long as it doesn't throw balance to out of wack(I hope Nintendo tested things on Fairy and how it plays in balance)

 

I didn't know Topsy Turvy was a new move, but that sounds very interesting, it could be very effective in competitive play.

 I know this feeling all too well, but first I spent 60+ balls trying to catch it (20 poke, 20 great, 20 ultra, + a random assortment of others inluding a timer ball :/). The eevee refused to be caught so I KO'd it out of spite...

Pokemon is pretty freaking amazing, its gonna be hard for them to make a pokemon I dislike truly .

 

And I assume Eevee is a pain to catch?

 

But does it compare to the 3 hours i spent catching a chancey in Fire Red?

How long exactly has it been since you played?

 

Really the easiest way to catch up is play the generations you haven't, as that will provide knowledge the best probably, but if you need something more specific i know a good bit, i'm still trying to get down the G5 stuff, but i've got stuff down for everything else, and I've been reading plenty of X and Y news.

True, of course theres always taunt, that seems to be apparently more popular competitively, stopping entry hazzard use, and could be used to prevent you from using Topsy-turvy, especially if it becomes used alot.

Yeah that would be pretty rad if a pokemon with prankster gets it. Imagine you get baited by a gyarados and its gets three dragon dances and a moxie boost, sableye could turn that spawn of aquaman and sonic the hedgehog back into a magikarp.

Well, for me, it was just level 20 and I was ONLY a level higher. I hit it one time. I cried a LOT. THIS HAPPENED TWICE. I was just so close. I took a while just to get to the location and then....it just fainted.

I've had many pokemon faint when I crit them makes me sad, especially rare ones.

 

Of course safari zone is frusterating because rare pokemon are hard to find, and when you find them they run in like 1-2 turns... :/.

This is actually...the Castelia Park. I can use pokemon, I just can't since they'll knock them out in one hit

Well, its about 12.5% chance so its pretty rare.

 

Although i caught like 6 pichu's and 4 pikachu and had a light ball and female pikachu to get a volt tackle pichu, and thats like a 5% chance so yeah .

Actually..

in the park, its like 5% chance at finding an eevee, and finding a female eeve, even rarer. Its rare to find one in white/Black 2, but you can and its at a low rate. So, I'm very happy. (Named it Chrysalis)

It is pretty rare. I'm aiming to catch a few more eevees to evolve them into the evolution I want.

But i really wanna use a Glaceon in a playthrough, not sure on what playthrough, probably have to use it on a diamond playthrough or something, but i'm already using snesel this playthrough on my Diamond.

 

On B/w i assume its not available till after you beat the game.

If so i believe the ice rock for evolving into glaceon is in twist mountain.

Its in normal play mode, not after the game. You must be in seasons spring or summer. Its only in the sewers. ^^ skitties and buneries are there too, but depends on your game.

Actually, to be honest, I only played with the trading cards, I also watched the anime.

 

But played the handheld series? Never...

 

Glad I'm finally going to play them, but besides my general knowledge of only G1 Pokemon, I don't know if I'm ready!

there's no need to worry about that. there's plenty of time to catch up on the other games. or you can do a bit of reading on some of the sites that are floating around. just don't go too in-depth with the competitive battling stuff just yet. that's some crazy stuff there /=|

Oh, ok, well i'm still on white 1 right now, going to play black 2 afterwards. Going to get an Eeveelution in it for sure.

I had some trading cards, but i never played with them really, i knew how to play kinda, but never really did. I think we sold them eventually.

 

Well if thats the case then that just means you get to play some awesome games .

 

G1 stuff is actually pretty hard to get your hands on, same with G2, its way easier to get the remakes really . The older cartridges are kinda rare since they have internal batteries and stuff.

 

And besides, you have plenty of time to learn if you want, i'd try and pick up leaf green or fire red and learn some stuff there, and move through the generations, but i guess technically you can just start on X and Y if you want to. Its just less over whealming to learn the smaller group of pokemon and expand from there.

 

I find that just playing the game you learn about all the pokemon, but maybe thats just me.

 

You can also read some basics and stuff if you want, i'm sure you can find some guides or something, just don't get into stuff that goes super compettitive, like IV's and Ev's and all the other complex stuff that will not make much sense not knowing much about pokemon.

Competitive battling isn't that complex if you already know about pokemon... Well, it depends on how in depth you go . I guess it can be kinda confusing.

 

But I have all the IV's and EV's and other stuff like that down.

 

Natures always kinda confuse me though, not got those to memory, but then again i really don't do competitive battling anyways, so i don't need to worry about natures .

I actually don't have a problem with EV's and IV's. at least not any more =P it was a headache and 5/8, but I managed to figure them out

 

I don't know what each nature does off the top of my head but they are also not as confusing as they used to be

 

I was actually referring to some of the movesets used for competitive battling and some of the counters for pokemon don't make sense to me /=|
