It's just so hard for me to decide between all the Disney movie's songs! D:

But I believe that certain two will always have a special place in my heart:

Not sure if those qualify as "epic", but I do get the goosebumps whenever I listen to them! :3

...Actually, now that I think about it, I love almost every song in the Lion King movies... So yeah, I can't decide at all. wub.png

Well, there's this - it's the last time I nearly cried in a theater:

...and then this, a non-Disney song and sequence which I think rivals Disney's best during the 90s:

Ain’t that Equestria / Drop on by / Ain’t that Equestria / Give friendship a try / Ain’t that Equestria / Ponies who fly / Little pink cupcakes for Pinkie Pie

No one posted "I'll make a man out of you" yet? Here you go:

Sexism in ancient China aside, this song is epic. One of the most awesome montages ever.

Mulan's smile at 1:03 is priceless.

And of course, shirtless Li Shang...yummy.

The most epic music in my opinion comes from a princess movie...

As semi pathetic as that sounds, this song specifically is not only voodoo enchanced, but it's also dark and gritty with a great catchy rhythm and explanation towards what the villain is...

Sorry - the other two were kind of downers. I had to post one of my favorite comedy songs in an animated film (if not my favorite):

Ain’t that Equestria / Drop on by / Ain’t that Equestria / Give friendship a try / Ain’t that Equestria / Ponies who fly / Little pink cupcakes for Pinkie Pie

Come, on, it's obligatory:

Although "The Bells of Notre Dame" and "God Help The Outcasts" are pretty epic too. But come on, the title alone is "How did THIS get into a Disney movie?" material.

I've watched it.

A hypocritical, hatemongering, religious fundamentalist BORDERING on sexual deviant singing about his lust for a gypsy girl.

It's even dubbed as "The boner that almost destroyed Paris."

Frollo is more evil and better than Scar, Ursula, Hades, and every other Disney villain. DEAL WITH IT, OR FACE HELLFIRE.

Fun fact; Frollo is one of the only Disney villains to be MORE evil than in the source material for something. Apparently he was more sympathetic in the original version.

Most epic song, eh? ...

Well if I exclude anime songs (which are pretty much always epic), I'd have to pick... well it is pretty much a tie between the songs in The Hunchback of Notre Dame. But if I had to pick only one... ... well the winner would be Hellfire.

Specifically the Finnish version of Hellfire. The original is good, but Finnish version... it feels like it gives more feel to the song and while the lyrics aren't really quite the same as in the original, it succeeds just as well if not even better.

Bit of a bump here for a song I found yesterday.

This is Biggering, from The Lorax movie. It has the honor of being too epic to be in the actual movie and was cut, which makes me wonder if it really belongs in this thread, but I'm rolling with it and I hope you will too. Here's the song with an accompanying storyboard.

It serves as a reprise to an earlier song in the movie called How Bad Can I Be?, which was a great way to show how the Once-Ler was attempting to justify his impact on the environment and area by pointing out that he was only following his dream, and was doing many positive things in the process like creating jobs. This reprise showed him at a much darker point where he has clearly been taken over by greed  These lyrics say it best:

And the customers are buying,

And the money multiplying

And the PR people lying

And the lawyers are denying,

Who cares if some things are dying?

I don't wanna hear your crying!

This is all so gratifying...

That's some powerful stuff there.

Disney always does it best when it comes to epic songs

So for me, it's between The Bells of Notre Dame

And, of course
Who can forget

Have a nice cold pint, and wait for all this to blow over..

What's the most epic song you've heard in an animated film? I gotta say,as much as i love Disney and its wonderful songs, for me this one always takes the cake:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c2WjCHuYg4g

I was gonna come in here and start listing every song ever from that film, but it looks like you're on the right tracks.

I gotta say that the song at the intro is stupidly epic as well.

That film was incredible. It's hard to believe that it was Dreamworks second animated film.

This song never fails to send shivers down my spine. Especially in the animated scene when the "waves" crash around Kenai. Not to mention the first few lyrics. "Come with me, I'll take you now to a place that you fear."

I was going to mention Hellfire, but then Stellafera stole my thunder.  :P  So I think I'll go with my next "most epic" that haven't been mentioned yet:

The title theme from Beauty and the Beast

The perfect song for the perfect centerpiece for one of the best animated films ever made.
