Does anyone else hear a whistle when they talk but not when they sing?

Hi, I seem to have noticed when I speak that I whistle sometimes I don't get why, it could be that I am short two teeth in the front and have two gaps, but I notice it's not as noticeable when I sing, I wonder does any one have the same problem?

I get that when I go from an S to a P sound most often.  It's very strange since I have large front teeth.  Although I do have a bit of a lisp and hearing myself through a phone message really makes me think I constantly sound congested or something....

its most likely because people tend to talk with their teeth more closed and when you sing your mouth opens allot more to get more notes out.
