Ponyville is only really good for being in connection with the Mane 6, some of the most politically important ponies (I still think that Twilight is being groomed to take the throne if the Alicorns somehow die) are highly concentrated into a small population.

 

Still, I choose Canterlot. Canterlot! The glamour, the sophistication! I've always dreamed of living there!

Well, most of the show premiers in Ponyville, meaning people can only mostly see the good things about that place. So I think I will stick with Ponyville.

 

It's a small town, kind of like suburban places, which is what I prefer! More space, more loose than big cities... That means I can run around without being yelled at as much!

I would like to live in Ponyville except for the fact that you always see canterlot looming overhead. Thats kinda creepy in my opinion. I would want to live a lot farther away, but still near the everfree forest. I would say that i would want to live in the everfree forest, but the poll said in Equestria

I had to choose Ponyville. All the other cities are pretty cool, and I'd love to see them. But I think Ponyville is a good middle ground when it comes to what I like out of a place to live. It's not so large and bustling (though I do like that environment sometimes), but it's not so incredibly small that seems boring and uneventful. It just seems like a nice middle ground place to live, so that's why I chose it.

Manehattan! I chose this because I lived in the human Manhattan for 3 years and had the time of my life. So far we have only seen the fancy side, but there is so much more that can be done with Manehattan. Maybe in Equestria, CBGB - home of underground rock! still exists (in our world, it has now been turned into a fancy men's clothing shop, *sob*). Manehattan has enormous potential and the chance to see the most diverse amount of ponies. I doubt MLP would show gay West Village ponies or East Village Goth ponies, but they can go as far as they'd like with it. I am a city pony!

 

Of course, Manehattan can be quickly ruined if, like in our human version, it is full of rats and plagued by high rent.
