A lot of my viewers are my Xbox or PC gamers and not a lot of bronies watch my stuff. So i thought it be a great idea to get my channel noticed on a brony related site. Yes, i know that not all bronies are all gamers but if you are and like watching Youtube then i recommend my channel. I also make sure to reply to all people that talk with me and i will get to you ASAP. I wish to get some feed back as well, i always want to know how my videos are bad or good. Hey there MrGamerPony. I recently looked at one of your video's (Super Mario Crossover) and you seem like you have potential. I am a let's player myself actually, however I've been on a 2-3 year Hiatus, however I know alot about Let's Playing and Id'e like to share my experiences with you to help better improve your video's.

1. Play games that you are most comfortable with, this includes Genre and type. ex; Silent Hill - Horror, Super Mario - Platformer.

2. Make sure, Make sure, MAKE ABSOLUTELY SURE, that you are in a good mood when recording, if not then the commentary will seem bland, and it will sound like you didn't want to play the game in the first place.

3. If your looking to be a successful Let's Player, Make a schedule for when you will make and upload your videos. Some people like to upload once a day, some people once a week. It's your choice when you want to upload.

4. Co-op let's plays are really fun to watch, you have someone else to talk to and relate to while recording. One day id'e be more than happy to Co-op with you.

5. It's a good idea NOT to record at 5 AM. At this point you may have just been called "Sleepy mcQuietson", if you know what I mean. I use to record at night alot, and my commentary was never as good as it was during the day.

6. Completely play through games. It's good to go through an entire story, or an entire game in parts. Iv'e noticed that most of your videos only consist of one episode. Try recording a game like "Dust : An Elysian Tale"  or "Bioshock", Make sure not to make episodes too long, 15-20 minutes is good for one ep.

 

So here were just a few tips to help you with your Let's Playing Career, i see that you have some "Other" types of videos on your channel. Personally I would create a different channel for those sorts of things but that's just me, you can do whatever you want on your channel

I watched your Slender game video and some of a minecraft one, and to me it seems like you are (maybe inadvertently) channeling PewDiePie. I don't know if you're doing this on purpose or not, but seriously, just be yourself, I'd rather watch PewDiePie than a guy pretending to be PewDiePie.

 

I'm not trying to be nasty, I just honestly think there are WAY too many people who do a sort of Pewdie impression when doing videos on youtube. And frankly, it's really annoying PewDiePie himself really just winds me up so the last thing we need is more of them.

 

If that's just how you naturally do videos, then fine, it's just my opinion and I hope that doesn't offend you. Good luck with the videos!

thanks TotalNeon for the comment yeah the slender one i guess was really like him idk if its because i just finished watching him that day and it rubbed off but i was not trying to be like him. I get that a lot on that slender video that i was acting like him a lot i honestly thinking about making a new one because of that.

I watched your Slenderman video, and I have to say you do sound a lot like Pewdiedie. Now obviously you're not completely like Pewdiepie, otherwise I would have stopped watching (I really, really don't like Pewdiepie. No offense if you do) but I'm just going to echo what TotalNeon said, try to be yourself. Don't put on an act.

 

As for games I'd recommend to you, I have a few here.

 

-Faster Than Light: Apart for being really fun, this game is amazing for Let's plays. It's a spaceship managment game. The graphics are pretty basic so it should run on your PC, and it has an amazing soundtrack (I'm just going to post TB here because he's great at explaining these kind of things.)

 

-Team Fortress 2: Just because of the potential for fun and stupidity, especially with friends. I've managed to turn an entire TF2 server into a pacifist Heavy picnic before.

 

 

-Killing Floor: A great zombie survival game. I have a 2 day free pass if you want to play without paying.

 

-Star Wars: Battlefront 2. It's just amazing.

 

 

I'd also recommend Half-Life 2, Portal 2, Half Life 1 and Mount & Blade for singleplayer.

I watched a couple of your videos and they seem good...I'm not a youtube gamer myself but one way to improve your videos would be to get a really cool looking intro or something to call your viewers or something like that..I don't really know.

 

Also, try to do videos on games that not every other lets player on earth plays. Fortunately you're on PC so always be checking steam for some new games because every channel has Battlefield 3 and Black Ops 2 videos.

I will Try that Team Fortress 2 again there was a problem downloading it before but i will try again
