Describe your real life friends

Xievie

Recommended Posts

This does not only apply to today's friends. It could be a childhood friend you haven't seen in forever. You choose. It could be anybody you consider a friend.

You do not have to mention their real name.

I'll describe my best friends:

Asian Otaku Friend (Met in Elementary School)

Best friend since Elementary. He looks out for me, is smart, and is never vulgar. He's kind and modest. Maybe he's a little too kind sometimes. He likes anime. A lot. It's definitely his biggest interest. He's way too smart. He's definitely almost college level while he's just a second year student in highschool.

Weeaboo Female Friend (Met First Year in Highschool)

Weeaboo. Short, funny, and I have no idea what ethnicity she is. She's the "white girl" of my group of friends while I'm the "asian kid". Hyper, violent, kind hearted, and generally smart.

She's the one I watch out for like a sister. I give her advice and make sure she doesn't do anything stupid. She does a lot of stupid stuff when she's confident..

Shy Minecrafter Friend (Met First Year in Highschool)

He's shy, quiet, and plays a lot of minecraft. He occasionally watches anime, but he's a bit more casual about it than I am. He's never confident. Out of all of my friends, he's probably the one I feel closest to. I feel comfortable with being casual around him, and I think he feels the same way. He actually talks to me about how he feels, and sometimes asks for my advice. I always go to him for help with homework. He likes to make cheesy jokes. We trade secrets and advice, and it's nice to be trusted, and it's nice to have somebody who knows I trust them.

Rival Friend (Met First Year in Highschool)

Basically, the guy I feel equal to in terms of academics, physical ability, and idea of the world. We play videogames together, can relate to eachother, and get into the funniest of conversations. I like to annoy him. I rival him in a lot of things. He's pretty badass in general actually. No other guy feels like a rival to me compared to this guy.

These are my four best friends. Everybody besides my otaku friend (who goes to another school) knows each other. These are my first friends. They have a positive influence on my life, and I enjoy hanging out with them.

-----

Now, what are your friends like? I've been curious and wanted to ask this on the forums. Maybe they are on the forums? Maybe they're not a brony? Maybe it's your first ever friend? Childhood friend?

Well, here we go:

[spoiler=Rude Funny Best Friend -Kaitlin-]She can be extremely rude but she's my best friend. She uses quite a lot of sarcasm and can be annoying from time to time. She whines a lot as well, but she can be pretty mean from time to time, but she means it in a joking matter.

[spoiler=Adorable Shy Friend -Nikki-]Her name is Nikki and she obsesses over Pinkie Pie, she's pretty kind and caring, but also pretty beautiful. Sadly, she moved to a different state, so we don't talk much.

[spoiler=Pokemon Friend -Abby-]She loves Pokemon and usually likes hanging out with me. She enjoys Rainbow Dash and she's usually a bit quiet yet outspoken. She tells her opinion usually. She only seems to laugh when she's hanging out with me and Kaitlin.

[spoiler=Country Friend -Eva-]She enjoys country-type things. She seems to get a boyfriend every week, no offense to her of course. She's pretty and pretty nice.

So, out of them, I would compare them to the mane 6 as this:

  • Me = Twilight Sparkle
  • Nikki = Fluttershy/Pinkie Pie combo
  • Kaitlin = Rainbow Dash
  • Abby = Twilight Sparkle/Rainbow Dash combo
  • Eva = Applejack/Rarity combo

There we go. :)

I have no friends

I guess I'll detail my friends.

Gamer/Skater

I've known this friend the longest. Ever since we were both 8 we've been gaming buddies. He also loves roller blading and ice hockey. We are extremely similar personality wise n.n

Computer Genius

Made friends with this guy not long ago. He's a whiz with computers. He's hacked into our main school area twice, installed Counter Strike across the network, and once even generated his own admin account. We like to talk about programming and technology, we also play Minecraft and Portal.

Nintendo Friend (also World's Most Chilled Out Man)

As my title for him implies, nothing bothers this guy. He speaks slowly and happily, laughs at a lot of things, and loves Nintendo gaming. (Unfortunately he doesn't like Animal Crossing as much as I do). We share a love for the casual side of gaming.

PC Gamer Friend

Your typical PC gamer - Steam lackey, Valve game fan and in-training computer genius. We sometimes game online together, but most of the time it's just chillax talking about the recent things in games like the console war and upcoming titles.

Academic Friend

I've actually known this friend for six years, but we only started talking for real last year. She's smart, works hard on her school studies and loves to complain about others. She's the only friend of mine who likes to chat about world issues, like politics and geography.

None of them are Bronies, but the middle three know I'm a Brony and are cool with it. :)

I won't mention names because it just feels... I dunno, like they wouldn't want me doing it.

But I WILL say that pretty much all my friends are partiers. I used to be into that in high school which is how I met them, but I've since grown out of it, so other than that we don't really have much in common.

...Wow, I need new friends.

i dunno how to add spoilers, so i'll just do without them.

my very best friend - Mark

i've known this one since pre school. he was and will be my best friend for the rest of my life. sadly he isn't around anymore to witness the beautifull world, but i'll make sure to always take him with me wherever i go.

my twin brother - Niels

this is my twin brother. we go to parties together, we get drunk together. we don't share everything, but it's pretty damn close.

my crazy friend - Hans

this one is always around when there is a party somewhere. he is probably the most chill guy i know, but he changes completely when you get a little booze into him. great guy. great fun to hang with.

my party friend - Emmy

this is probably the only girl friend that makes it into my best friends list. she is always there for me and the others. and is overall just mad fun to hang around with. and as a bonus, she loves to go to hardcore EDm festivals, wich happen to be the best festivals in the world :D

my DJ friend - Arjan

he always knows everything about the latest artists. he is a DJ himself and he makes mostly hardstyle music. great guy overall and possibly the most loyal of friends beside my twin brother and Emmy.

my worker friend - Carlos

this guy is working almost 7 days a week. he is a great guy and he definately has his priorities set. he isn't as much available to go to parties or festivals tough, but he makes up for that when he does come. and probably goes harder then anybody else :3

that's about all my best friends i can think about.

My Best Friend - Kamron: This guy has been my friend since we were little, and he is like a brother to me.

Lisa - She is like one of my closest friends, who is usually serious but at the same time funny.

Awkward Friend: Talon is a pretty cool guy, especially once you get to know him.

Odd Friend: Marienny, she is sometimes a good friend, but as long as you don't tell her to do weird things.

Dirk - Best Friend! ; I saw him for the first time when I was about 3 weeks old. We grew up together, I couldn't imagine what my life would be without him. Plus I've converted him to a brony :3

Christiaan - The stoner; Yes, it's true. I've never EVER seen him sober. He's always high. Though you'd guess this would effect his grades and whatnot, he scores better than most of my class. He comes from a bad neighboorhood though he has a heart of gold. Very loyal and dependable friend.

Luc - The gentleman; He's a very sophisticated fellow. At least, he acts that way, most of the time. A smart guy. Very generous, kind, understanding. Heck, the guy screamed "FUCK YEAH!" throughout the entire school when I told him I watch My Little Pony.

I could name more, but I'm far too lazy.

OH. SO WE'RE TALKING ABOUT REAL LIFE FRIENDS EH?!

Two Guy Friends (Primary/Elementary School - Not Friends With Now)

These bastards were fucking awful. They used to put me and everyone else down no matter what they did. One of them threw a shoe at me and broke my nose. I don't even know why I was their friends. They're not so bad now, I talk to them occasionally.

Indie Tomboy Girl (Secondary/High School)

One of the very few people who are always nice to me. I don't think she's ever insulted me and I love our random late night text chats we have. We usually meet on Saturday's with another friend of mine for a Costa Coffee.

Stoner Bass Player (Secondary/High School)

Essentially my dealer but also a really great friend. He's had a shit time with his love life but my god, he's always been there when I needed him. He's the other friend I go to Costa with.

Pagan Shy Singer (Secondary/High School)

A great friend who's also been through a lot of shit and helped me when I've been going through the same. Has a great voice but refuses to acknowledge the fact.

My IRL Waifu (Secondary/High School)

Yup, I'ma get sappy. She's helped through a lot of bad stuff, like... really bad stuff and has given me a home when I felt like I didn't had one. Sure, we have our arguments and our fair share of disputes but we'll always work through it.

well, a lot of my friends are drawers. they draw manga and stuff almost all the time. although, some of them can't draw stick figures to save their lives. then i have my whovian friends. we always talk about Doctor Who and stuff. i have a few brony friends who i always make sure to stay in touch with. we love speculating about future seasons and such. some of my friends are gamers, especially with pokémon. i can rarely ever understand what they're saying, but i listen anyway. i also have a bunch of friends who, including myself, play various TCGs, mainly Yu-Gi-Oh! and Magic the Gathering. then i have my math friends and my band friends. other than that, i can't really think of how to describe them besides going too deep. i will say one thing, one of these was someone i used to be into.

Some... I actually have some. Weird names, I believe.

Zulkarnaen: A very formal man who always follows the way of the good. Boring, indeed, but works good as a friend. The best phrase to describe him is 'lawful good', but he has some kind of dirty minds. I met him at the junior high. Now, he's a manager at his uncle's company. No need to be surprised. Most of my companions start their careers in their 17, including me.

There's a rather sad story happened just about two weeks ago.

My best friends and I were that kind of those... you know, study hard, gamers, don't play outside, play board or hand-drawn RPGs, and have no social life. Of course, none of us was considered 'interesting' nor is interested in having one.

I spent my senior high school (a vocational school) with the nearly same life style. Got some lawful good friends, study hard, play PC game, still with no social life, but now there's a special addition: no sleep. I went to a restaurant (not my idea) with my vocational school friends because a teacher gave us some money as a reward of helping the school with its website and stuff. I agreed, since I thought I deserved some of the money. Then there we went to that restaurant. We ate, talked, and when we finished our plates. Things I don't usually do.

When I was heading out, I saw Zulkarnaen near the exit. Since I haven't met him for a long time, I decided to talk to him, but he was alone, or so I thought, so I asked my friends to leave me with him when they were heading home. I observed him. He dressed nicely, I'm with a shirt and a jacket. His face and hair look fresh (even though he wore glasses) as if he just washed it, my wild hair and eye bags. His confident business posture, my exhausted engineer posture. The hell did he dress that neat just to have a dinner alone?

He told me how he became a manager in his uncle's company and how he got accepted on that so-called the best university in our country. I heard from my seniors that university teaches the same engineering thing taught in our vocational school, but he took International Relation thingy, which sounded pretty awesome. I told him how I became a programmer was going to be a web developer at the same time somewhere around this September. I still have a year to spend to work at a company (for working experience) before I can go to college because my vocational school has a four years programs. He looked very interested in my monotone life, though. That one supportive lad.

We chatted, bla bla bla, and came to a point where:

"So, why are you here?" (notice the weird talking style)

"Just like you."

Of course, silly me. It was a restaurant after all. To cover this stupidity, I chuckled and asked, "Alone?"

"No." He pointed to someone some feet away behind me.

I turned around, and only saw a girl sitting on a table not so far from where we were. "J-just... that one?"

He nodded.

That's it. I could take the conclusion by myself. That one nerdy lad I knew from junior high, who usually wrote his own board RPG game and eagerly asked me to play it with him, got a girlfriend, while I was just there, being a real life Tomoko from Watamote (an anime I watched just a day before).

post-10241-0-86569600-1354863660_thumb.jpg

Sitni: This one serious hard worker, yet humorous. He went to the same vocational school with me, but he took Mining Geology (in which you're guaranteed to be rich after graduation) and I took Computer and Network Engineering, so we weren't in the same world. I can't talk much about him. He's just... well... too damn damned that I can't even find words to describe this awesome guy.

Just say, humorous, loyal friend (he used to help me with his bike in junior high (I was a walker)), very smart, diligent, lawful good.

Andri: Not Andre. Told you about the weird names. That innocent manga artist. Girls always gathered around him back in junior high, because he was so innocent and cute (they said it, not me). A study maniac, lawful good, humble, respectful. He always drew manga characters on school breaks. Sitni and I used to mess with his drawings while he's out. We usually added some lipsticks, stockings, and... weird shits. XD

Good thing, he never really got mad and remained friends with us.

post-10241-0-50285000-1357896454.jpg

Anis: A friend from the Computer and Network Engineering. A phreaker. He breaks network security systems to do lol-able stuff. He's proud of his culture and is religious, which is the only things I dislike about him. Interesting guy. He used to give my other friends and I some free Internet access he got by breaking ISPs' security systems.

Elang: There are only two programmers in our class, and the whole 14th generation of the Computer and Network Engineering in our vocational school: Elang, and Herwin (which is me (weird names, I told you)).

He's a math and logic genius. He won the third place in the national math olympic (or whatever it is called) last year (or whenever it is), while I'm just a man who can't remember a thing with a rather low IQ (actually medium (I even forget my own IQ!)). His main weakness is his laziness. He only code websites, while I code both website and general programming stuff (game, network, etc).

The best way to describe him is that one guy who always gets 'A' even if he never studies.

Ren: Anis' best mate. Always follows his journey in breaking ISPs' security systems, while I don't think Ren can break them by himself. Anime fan boy. He always abuses that free Internet access to download anime episodes. Used to be a badass in junior high (he confessed (he even had a girlfriend)) but went neutral good in senior high.

That's all... I guess. Wait, actually there are some more, but this post is long already. Those above are what interesting after all.

I'm extremely shy and introverted and have trouble making friends. The only friends I made were back in middle school and high school.

Best Friend: Matt - Lived across the street from me in middle school and high school. Stood up for me when some bullies were picking on me, having just moved to town and being the "new kid". After that, we would do everything together, play games, share written stories and confide in personal secrets. Sadly, Matt died a few years ago. His dream was to be a Marine, and he was a sniper in Afghanistan, where we was killed by an IED.

Wisecracking Friend: Sarah - Met her in summer school where we worked on a few class projects and developed a shared sense of humor. She helped me develop the confidence to use my own sense of humor, instead of recycling funny quips from TV shows in real conversation. She also was from a more down-to-earth background, so she wasn't as high and mighty as most of the other kids from rich families in the neighborhood. In senior year, though, she was hit by a drunk driver and killed while driving from the grocery store.

The Popular Friend: Jessie - She was one of the most popular kids in high school, able to move between the cliques and social ladder rungs. She was also valedictorian and even was a frequent interviewee on local news stories in our town. Despite being so busy, she always welcomed me when I tried to make my way into the circles of high school. I doubt I would have ever seen myself as a fellow student if it hadn't been for her welcoming attitude. In her freshman year of college, she had some fish that might have been tainted with peanut oil, and she was found dead the next morning.

Crazy Friend: Jon - We met in the Japanese Anime Club in high school and we shared a similar wacky off-the-wall sense of humor. Despite being from different political persuasions, we didn't let that affect our friendship at all and we would often debate about things while remaining respectful and civil. More than once, we took a few trips up to the lake with his family and would get up really early to go waterskiing on the lake, followed by a big breakfast. We're still in touch to this day, with him writing and drawing a small comic series and me editing and proofing it, even with us living a long distance from each other.

Well, here I go, however I am only using their first initial.

R

One of my best friends from the start of 4th grade, I didn't realize it until 5th grade though. He is as tall as me and he has long hair (for a boy) that is dirty blonde. He has green eyes. He is funny and honest. He is much like a mixture of Apple Jack and Pinkie Pie. He is average in intelligence, but overall he is an amazing person.

A

Me and her where best friends from the moment we met, which was in 5th grade. She is tall with long golden blonde hair. She also has glasses. She is very out-going and brilliant. She is a mixture of Fluttershy and Twilight Sparkle. She is very kind and she has a way with animals, though she is not afraid to stand up to herself.

E

I met her in kindergarten, but we didn't become friends until 3rd grade. She is short-ish with longish brown hair. She is intelligent. Her and I hang out a lot and we are almost inseparable. She is also pretty funny. She is a little bit of Pinkie Pie and Rarity.

And those are my best friends. I love them so much and they are just so amazing.

Big Jeff and I met in our first year of high school, and we've been together these past 11 years. We've been through a lot together and trust each other implicitly. When we were in our mid-teens, the only kind of music he liked was big-band era stuff and the early 60s was pretty much his cutoff point. He was also really into amateur radio and loved meteorology. He's expanded his horizons in recent years, but retains his old ways as well. When the two of us get together it's a nonstop party for us most of the time, seldom shutting up and always talking about whatever random things come to mind and finding a way to tie them into things we've been through before in hilarious ways others would think insane. "We are as one," as Seven of Nine once said in a drunken stupor. We can also chill and do nothing, perfectly content to watch TV together on the couch for hours. Just being together is all that matters.

David is a pretty reserved guy. He says little to nothing except to his friends. He and I have known each other a little longer than I've known Big Jeff, and he'll occasionally come to my place to hang out or we'll go to the movies. He's a sports guy, and I'm not, but I love hearing about whatever baseball, football, basketball, tennis event currently has him excited. He's a decent guy and I'm about as far removed from his other friends as could possibly be, but we share a chemistry he and the others don't.

Neither of them are bronies, but they're cool with it. David also knows what it's like to have a few unorthodox interests and get some grief for it. Big Jeff also likes to rag on me sometimes, but he's only joking and is never rude.

The Sarcastic One:

Well, she's been my best friend since the third grade. She's very sarcastic and really smart; owns a lot of video games. She laughs at almost everything.

The Instagram Maniac:

She's one of my best friends and has left my school this year. She and I always go to amusement parks together while the rest of my friends stay grounded. Really outgoing and funny.

Optimistic Guy:

Athletic and usually is a total idiot. (( In a good way. )) But he's usually sweet though. I proudly call him my boyfriend today. :) ))

I can't really say all my other friends. That'd be a huge wall of text.

L-He's a cool, laid back guy. He can see through people's BS easily, which I like about him. We're both bronies, too which is cool. I don't really hang out with him much. I talk to him all the time in school though.

A-He's awesome! I've known him since 4th grade. We're both Pokémon fans, anime fans, homestuck fans, gamers, ect, We have a lot of good memories together. I'm glad that I met him. He's a great friend!

B-I met him in 1st grade. We don't have too much in common, but we still have fun hanging out. We're both gamers, and play games a lot together. A good friend, even thought he can be a little derpy at times.

A- He's a furry, a brony, and a gamer-Just like me! I talk to him the most out of all my friends. He's a fun guy to be around. He's a newer friend, but a great one at that!

N-She's my "bus buddy". By that I mean the person you talk to on the bus daily. We're both hardcore anime fans, and we talk about anime all the time. She's very outgoing, and overall just an awesome girl.

Z-We talk a lot during school. He's a nice guy. We're both into gaming, and computers. He's intelligent, and has become rather popular lately. He's a great guy to have around for random, fun conversations.

M-One of my all time favorite friends. She's so freaking awesome! We both love pokemon, homestuck, anime, Will Smith, and all sort's of random shit. I have so many good memories with her. We haven't been talking as much lately, and I think we're starting to drift apart. Oh well, as much as that sucks all freaking-awesome things have to come to an end right? I'm happy I got to know her!

I don't have any friends, not since I lost all mine after high school, just my brother.

Let's just say me and him are like day and night, as once described by a high school teacher in the past.

But we get along.

I hate my friends outside of the forums.

I would state the positives, but there's nothing I can say good about them, there what I find wrong in the world in terms of drug abuse, liars, morons, sex addicts, and rule breakers.

When I have true friends in college, which is in a week, I'll kindly describe my TRUE friends.

I have 3 best friends.

1. Aubrey- a kid from the country. Total redneck, likes to hunt, fish, shoot, and just about anything else redneck-y. He also has a nerd side. Likes Pokémon, watches cartoons, and might be a brony.

2. Cole- me, but more likable. We have the same hair, same skin tan, same sounding voice, same interests, same grades, same sense of humor, same take on life. Not a brony. We do everything together.

3. Adam- My friend since I was a baby. most popular, well liked, athletic, and a cool older brother. possibly my best friend, even if we don't hang out as much as we used to.

Hmm...

My Ex-Best Friend & Friend:

She used to be exactly like me, but she grew out of animals and cats and being a generally innocent girl. She moved to Portland Oregon and never came back the same again. She was like a sister to me, and we did everything together. Known her since I first moved here in Oregon from Elementary, and I still have a deep hole from the loss I had from my most trusted and relatable friend. Miss the old you, Kylee. Perhaps you'll see me one more time before I permanently move away forever...

My Super Smart, Snobbish Advanced Pianist Friend:

Lindsey is the best kid pianist I know. She plays advanced classical pieces, and is pretty much the best in the state. She's won in state contests more than once. She practices and goes to lessons most of her free time every single day, and you can probably see why she's so good. Her mom is very clean and tidy, so they are a pretty typical girly type. buy expensive beauty products, the house is squeaky-clean 24-7, and smells of scented candles. She's a brat, though. And really perverted. Makes sex jokes all the time. But I guess that's also expected for such a nice lifestyle and perfect grade-point averages. But I love her. She always makes my day with her dumb jokes.

My Rather Main-Stream Slightly Gothic New Friend:

I met Anicka this year, and she loves Evanescence and has black dyed hair. She's really understanding of my points of view on friendships and ignorance, since she's been through tough friend times too. She's my only friend really still MLP, and kind of annoyingly listens to that teenage pop garbage like every other kid does these days. She draws too. I'm really gonna miss her when I move...

My Insomniac Arrogant Friend:

Jessica's into fandoms and media, like pretty none of my friends, which is pretty much everything I'm in too.

But she's depressed and insomniac so she's stuck up and mean a LOT. I understand that those diagnostics are not something to push aside, but she's only like that because she decided to hold on to her problems. Other than occasional fights, she's an anime fan, even though we never watch the same stuff. She's also a superhero fan and Captain America fan.

My Best Kind, Sensitive Friend:

Deena is the cutest thing! She loves animals, and is so caring, and always there for me! Although a bit ignorant, she never tries to do wrong. I really don't have any problems with her.

My Best Relatable Friend:

Sarah is my most relatable friend currently. One of my two best friends of our trio of friends, she and I share a Minecraft, anime, humor, animals, games, and any other interest we soon find out about each other. Although I bit stubborn and sensitive, she's always going to be there for me.

My Ignorant Euphoric Friend:

Kadie moved away a long time ago, but she was the nicest person I ever met. Too bad she dates the wrong guys.

My MLP Friend:

Chelsea watches MLP with her younger sister, and she's the sweetest thing. She has a ton of animals, and that's utterly awesome. A potterhead, we both frequently speak about our favorite characters along with watching her Marvel movie collection.

My Friend That Everyone In My Family Hates:

Although pretty much liking everything I liked, Shelby did bad things, and my dad and brothers knew she was bad from the start. I'm not really friends with her anymore.

My Anime Cat Friend:

Alena is a quirky cat lover, and a anime nut. An artist too, we share so much in common. Too bad she doesn't really talk to me due to Jessica being her best friend.

I would list my guy friends but they aren't really my friends anymore due to them being dumb awkwards and thinking that I like every guy I talk too because of people teasing them. C:

God I sound like a dumb teenage girl right now...
