I can see where you're coming from, but I kinda have to disagree here. Rainbow Dash is tough, yeah, but part of that's always felt like an act to me. She even said it in the Mysterious Mare-Do Well. "I hate being alone...". There was also Sonic Rainboom, with her stage fright.

 

 She's never been quite as "Tough" as she likes to pretend, this was just us finally getting to see her really breakdown.

 

 And I'm doing fine.

I can understand that, ponies in general being unhappy isn't always easy for me to watch. So, I can understand being uncomfortable about it.

 

 Though, if you felt bad, it was the episode doing it's job right, since that's probably how they wanted their audience to feel. She accepted it in the end though, and Tank will be back soon enough.
