Crapple strikes again!

I'm not sure why you would caption this "Crapple strikes again!"
Who is going to do this entirely on accident? Who accidentally sets a phone clock/calendar back 46 years, and then turns their phone off? :\

It's not the fact that it would be very hard to believe someone did it on accident. It's the fact that Apple didn't put in a failsafe. This is obviously a bug and it would be really easy to get someone to hate you if you bricked their iPhone.

 

Also, I just have a general disliking for Apple products. They're very overpriced for what you get. I mean, it took them till 2015 to release a 1080 x 1920 display when Android has been doing that for years. It's also the pretentious hipster culture behind it. People think they're doing the hipster thing by buying the most popular phone in the world. Don't get me wrong - Apple makes beautiful stuff. But their hardware is very lacking and overpriced imho. Just look at their desktop pc's. You spend $2500 on a pc that has exactly the same hardware in it as a machine you can build yourself for $700. Once upon a time when Apple used PowerPC, there was a difference. But now it's all the same stuff on both platforms.

 

And for what? To have a lesser chance of a virus? If you're not opening sketchy documents and emails or giving your information to dodgy sites, you'll generally be okay. And if you prefer OS X, build a hackintosh. It'll be much more fun and you'll save a metric shit ton of money. ^u^

 

I could give the Apple rant all day but I'll save pages 2 - 1944 for another day
