Those are some very funny first impressions of some of the characters.

 

Funny seeing Rainbow Dash is a guy at first glance and some others don't look too girlish so you think they must be male like Derpy (at least until you understand mlp anatomy).

Okay, the reaction to Snips and Snails had me rolling; it caught me off guard, but it's totally true!

 

Man, so many people think Dashie is a dude. It's like... I thought rainbows were supposed to be "unmanly", yet a lot of outsiders think the bright rainbow one is a dude!

 

I dunno, always thought it was odd because before I even saw the show and I just saw the characters laying around, I always knew that Dash and Applejack and other ponies that seem to get people confused about gender were mares.

 

Anyway, hilarious as heck, you definitely weren't lying about that!

Especially when you showed him Rarity, since that is exactly what I thought about her when first seeing her on the show. His thoughts on Cheerilee were also really funny, because she's not like that at all. You friend only assumed that cause you chose a rather obnoxious looking picture of her.

Oh my gosh that was amazing!  Those initial reactions from someone who literally knew nothing of the show were simply priceless!!!  I got a particularly great giggle out of the recolor comment on Sunset Shimmer, just because it was eerily accurate to what a lot of bronies initially said about her!
