I would probably be the quirky professor whom you suspect is the Principal since everyone turns to them for authorization or power but in truth I was just the school wizard all along. Simply lost my way. Sorry. 
 

Then I discover the existence of an actual professor @Luna the Great of all the Russias and I pester them daily about the logistics of metaphysics. It is great.

I’ll also be the one at my desk going, “Is it the homework pencil on the left side of the paper next to the quiz pencil, or over on the right side all by itself? Or... Wait, I got it! The quiz pencil goes right over here next to the essay pencil, and the essay pencil gets turned sideways toward the notepad, just in case I have to write an essay.”

I'd be one of two things:

A.) The quiet student who keeps to himself and simply goes to school, learn what I need to, and then go back home until the next day. I'd also have my disability which requires an academic aide to help me with advice on various things.

B.) Graduated by finishing via online courses.
