Have any episodes ever made you cry?

Sonic Rainboom and Hurricane Fluttershy were the only two episodes that did it for me.  Sheesh, I have such a soft spot for inspirational pegasi stories.

We're men! We don't tear up! This is 'merica!

Okay, in all seriousness, I didn't actually tear up at any episodes, but there are episodes that made me rethink my life and my friends. I will say that the day the show ends will be the day of sorrow.

I haven't cried, or even gotten watery eyes yet, but I have gotten "the feels" plenty of times though, namely during  Canterlot Wedding Part 1, Hurricane Fluttershy, Sisterhooves Social, and Sleepless in Ponyville

So far not yet, the closest I have to that was the scene with the shooting stars in the Apple Family Reunion episode, although they haven't explicitly stated it in the show signs are pointing to that Applejacks parents are dead. I have been through enough family tragedies to know what that kind of grief is like and trust me you may sympathize but until you have actually gone through that you can never even begin to understand what that is like. I think it is why Applejack has that maturity that her other friends lack is because she was forced to grow up a bit faster and take on responsibilities she would not have normally taken on until she was a bit older.

I didn't cry, but it broke my heart when Fluttershy just chewed out Rarity and Pinkie in Putting Your Hoof Down.

But I'll be completely honest, I cried at the end of this FiW episode.

The saddest part is...they still don't know or appreciate what raincloud did to save their lives.  :(

Ah well, as FiW Applejack would say, biscuits and gravy!

Definitely "Sleepless in Ponyville" because.... I mean, come on! Scootaloo dream of Rainbow Dash taking her under her wing came true!

Season 2 finale, hands down, I was blubbering like a baby.

I cried a LOT at My Little Dashie, it hit home pretty darn hard, then again, who didn't cry at My Little Dashie?

I also cried at the ending of Sleepless in Ponyville, it literally made my life seeing Rainbow Dash take Scootaloo under her wing. The flying scene was so emotional :')

I cried at the Season 2 finale, it just made me so emotional to see Princess Cadence locked up in that cell and sang about how she was afraid to lose Shining Armour to the Changeling.

I had my books to read, didn't know that I would ever need

Some fanfics have wet my eyes, but I'm less of a "bawl my eyes out" person and more of a "go very quiet and thoughtful" person. But as far as stirring emotions go and almost getting me to cry...

Yep, this, pretty much. If anyone ever asks me why Hurricane Fluttershy is my favorite episode, I will just show them this. Edited by Stellafera

No, but it takes a lot to make me cry lol

Same for me, I don't cry that much as I used to as a kid. And no episode has ever gotten me to cry before. But that is just me and my heart.

Nope, haven't shed a tear for an episode, and probably  never will, I don't really cry when it comes to TV or movies. Maybe I'll feel a bit down, or a little happy, but not too much. It takes a lot to get me to actually cry. The only thing pony related that I've ever really cried about was  My Little Dashie, but that's not an episode of MLP, now is it? That's just me, anyway.

I have never openly wept over the episodes but I can say I have cried over some of the fandom (Fanfics, songs etc)

I suppose that the Sister Hooves Social one made me tear up a bit, when Rarity finds the collage of Sweetie Belle/Rarity.

Same here, the show never made me cry, but the mentioned episode, I almost teared up (I'm sorry, my scumbag brain makes me feel bad to tear up at a TV show). Same thing with the story "My Little Dashie", I almost cried, but I stopped myself, saying I wouldn't cry at this story. But I was close, let me assure you.

Later on, though, I read a story titled "The Things We Leave Behind", which I skim read until the end, which I allowed tears to be shed at. I'll be honest, I held them back at first, but they still came, so I basically said, "Screw it, let the tears come", but I still didn't cry like I thought I would.

Another good one I almost cried at was "Left in the Cold". Just...sad.

And that's your dose of feels for the day.

I cried a few times.. Due to the Fact I was laughing to hard. Im not sure how old ever one is but there a lot of in side jokes that only the older crowed would get. It amazes me what artiest and actors can squeeze into media and get aired

good example is the 2 shots I took of the a TV ep. LUlz and please don't act like you don't get it.lol (when did ponies require bras and panties?)

Photo Finish,that's her name.

Makin' every-pony pretty is her number one game.

She do what she do, to make you more than you.

No-pony gonna care if what we share is true.

Cause lies are beautiful, the truth is not.

Come on little mare, you better shake that plot.

You know that's what they really all came to see.

None of them make me cry because no episode has any bittersweet endings and really only if somepony got ill and died would I actually cry or something happened that splits up the name 6 up forever happens but since that will never canonically happen I have nothing to fear. Im still vulnerable with the fan fics though.

I've never cried over MLP, in fact I dont think i've ever cried over any TV show...ever o.O

That being said it takes ALOT for me to start leaking, being temporarily kicked out of my house came close, but I had something to prove to myself then, which looking back on was a stupid thing...

HOWEVER, one episode has made me tear up a little. Not visibly, but you know when you get that feeling of puffy eyes just before you start crying? Yeah that. BUT I can't actually remember which episode that was, so it can't have been that well imprinted on me :3

Also however, like most - yes, I cried at MLD...like a baby, in fact.

MLD? my little dashy Fan based Youtube video or dose that stand for something else? If it was the youtube video I didn't find it all that touching.. It was good but nothing to make a river out of

My little dashie, on YouTube read by Micthemicrophone.

Some people didn't like it, some people gave it a sniffle, but most people I see talking about it cried at least one tissues worth.

I think it depends on how you're feeling and your surroundings at the time you listen to/read it, for me I was new to the fandom at the time, and so everything about My little pony was a new experience, including sitting down at 5 in the morning alone doing nothing but listening to My Little Dashie through my headphones.

If you feel like TL;DR Just read the blue bits

I think the main thing about it that struck me was just the fact that I just...dont watch TV much, or movies, or read...or anything.

And of course like just about everyone else out there who's between the ages of born and dead I play shooters almost every day of my life -.- (Keep makin' a difference Daniel...sheesh) so you just get numbed to anything bad that doesn't actually have an affect on you as a person.

(Does that make sense? I mean like...you get so used to shooting the limbs off of things that you just dont react to it like you did to start with, and unless something in real life actually makes you think about something or has an impact on your life, then you just shrug it off. Maybe i'm just cold-hearted, I dunno)

I suppose the point im trying to get across with that ramble is that MLD was the first in a new line of different experiences for me. I'd never really experienced anything like that before, and putting myself in the characters shoes was a good way to get the full benefit of the story - for me, at least.

Doesnt take a lot to make me tear up a bit, at the very least. Considering its MLP, there were scenes displaying such emotion, beauty, and even epicness, that it left me with a couple of tears.

Some examples would be Rd's sonic rainboom (was really beautiful to see: really well animated: the build-up was perfect, lol, made me tear a lil), and in the singing of this day aria (Britt's voice went REALLY well with the animation, as well as the orchestration, even though they were singing out of the blue^^).

I've gotten the feels plenty of time in a lot of episodes, maybe even puffy eyes, but no, the show hasn't pushed me to shedding tears.

Yet... ;)

However, the fandom has pushed me to crying many times. MLD made me tear up, then I full on cried when I heard the dramatic reading by Mic the Microphone. The sequel made me tear up, too. A lot of songs have pushed me to tears, too, especially Mandopony's "A Long Way from Equestria." That song had such an impact on me that it even pushed me to learn the guitar (which I will be doing after the first of the year).

This is the last fandom video to push me to tears, the trailer for Bronies: The Extremely Unexpected Adult Fans of My Little Pony.

Everyone in the street singing "Smile Smile Smile"...so god dang beautiful. :(
