Jailed for not realising that that's all hypothetical at the moment, and they effectively haven't proved any of the postulates of string theory yet.

It's just a pretty pile of maths at the moment.

Jailed again for not realising that there's multiple variants on string theory too, so there might even be as few as 9 dimensions if they prove string theory.
