Pink: A color representing femininity, expression, and love. It's my second favorite color! :pinkie:

Red: I see Red as a color representing passionate emotions. It's actually my favorite color. :twi: Though I don't really like brownish reds...

Orange: A color of warmth, sunshine, and oranges, It's a pretty nice color. :)  Though I prefer lighter oranges.

Yellow: The UGLIEST color in the rainbow. BLEH! As you can easily tell, I really don't like yellow. :baconmane:

Green: The color of life, weirdness, and slime. I kind of dig it. :P Though I generally prefer darker greens, lighter greens don't look bad.

Blue: A color representing calm, but also water and masculinity. Not going to lie, I'm a bit meh on blue personally. :dash:

Purple: It's a good looking color, but what it represents makes me a little meh on Purple. :bea:

Brown: Brown is down there with Yellow as a color. I find it nasty. Though chocolate's brown and I like chocolate... :sealed:

Gray: I find Gray to be a color representing apocalyptic worlds, and blandness. Needless to say, I'm not a fan of grey. :unamused:

White: I'm meh on White. It was my favorite color in Magic, but I really don't like what White represents, and I don't like the way it looks.

Black: I kind of like Black. It's a great color to contrast with lighter colors and a great third color for a color trio.

Pink: Never been one of my favorites, though I have to say it does look alright combined with blue or black. I mostly associate it with love and Pinkie Pie.

Red: I used to love red. It's a great accent color, but it can be overwhelming if it's not used in moderation. Also, maroon was one of my High School colors (close enough to red), so I'm a bit partial to it because of that.

Orange: I've never been a huge fan of orange. I just think it's a boring color, and I associate it with crappy fake-orange candy.

Yellow: Eye-piercing and bright. Also good for accents, but not much more.

Green: Used to be my favorite. It's just a nice, calm color.

Blue: My current favorite, though ironically I don't wear much of it. Dark shades of blue are beautiful.

Purple: I've always liked purple (not this shade of purple), but I never really used it all that much for some reason.

Brown: The most boring imo. The color of dirt.

Gray: I like gray. It's similar enough to black.

White: It's a nice, clean color. I don't like wearing it, but it does look good when used correctly.

Black: I hardly wear any other color. It's just such a neutral, inoffensive color. If something needs a bit more color, I usually just add black.

I never realized I had a preference towards cool colors until now. Warm colors are just too harsh for me, I guess.

Pink: I love pink. It’s a soft, beautiful color that feels civilized.

Red: Ya gotta have red in the world. It’s hot, fiery and passionate. It covers the warm end of the spectrum with style.

Orange: My favorite color of them all. It’s bright, warm, uplifting, beautiful. It’s considered the artist’s color and I won’t dispute that statement.

Yellow: I love yellow for its brightness and the way it mixes with other shades. It’s a great mixer at the extreme end of color temperature.

Green: Peaceful and lovely to look at. But as an artist I find it among the most challenging to work with. Getting the right shade of green is very difficult; finding the right balance between cool and warm greens, and avoiding making it too bright and artificial, or too muddy and washed out. It’s easier to mix your own greens from scratch than paint straight from the tube.

Blue: Gorgeous! The most peaceful color; cool, deep and meditative. It looks good in light or dark and the varieties are stunning.

Purple: The color most associated with learning. Not sure why. But I like it for its subtle decorative qualities. It’s also nice to have a color that bridges the gap between the more often used shades and provide some variety without beating you over the head with it.

Brown: I love brown. When I’m painting it’s my most used color (aside from white). It mixes well with everything and brings it all together with ease.

Gray: I don’t use it much when I paint, but when I do it can be tricky finding the right kind of grey, from warm to cool. I love to do B&W pencil drawings though, and obviously that’s where grey is front and center.

White: The most used color in any artists painting supply. It mixes with absolutely everything and you can’t paint without it. My favorite is Permalba White because Titanium White is on my s*** list for turning yellow and ruining one of my best paintings!

Black: Nice color and it goes with everything. In terms of clothing it’s a handy go-to color for any occasion depending on how much it’s used. I don’t paint with it much though because it’s too extreme for most of my needs.

color is the most wonderful thing ever! This is a fantastic topic

also: shoutout to OP for providing a template to copy/paste lol. It's super helpful

Pink: Such a pretty color - one of my favorites. And it's the color of best pone

Red: Red just screams confidence to me. Using in the right way it's an incredible color

Orange: Not one of the more popular colors but i'm fond of it. It feels so unique

Yellow: I'm less fond of this color than the others, but like the rest in the right situation it could also be my favorite

Green: My second favorite! It's just so cool

Blue: Obviously one of the most popular. It's not my personal favorite but is still nice

Purple: My favorite! I spent the majority of my life disliking it until one day I suddenly realized it's actually perfection

Brown: I don't love brown as a color but it's my absolute favorite eye and hair color. I wish people would embrace those more often

Grey: Grey is just so chill. It's my favorite color of clothing to wear

White: White is interesting. It's not really a color yet it feels like color couldn't exist without it. If that makes sense

Black: Kind of the same deal as white. Either way it sure looks cool

now i need to leave this thread before my eyes just die. good times tho

Eh, color is cool but there's much more to the world than what the eyes see. From the bright white vegetation in the Near IR to the glow of everyday objects in the longer wavelengths, the infrared spectrum is much more vast and awesome!  Owning the cameras to see outside of the visible spectrum has really changed the way I look at things around me.  :ooh:

Take a look at a painting or some scenery with a Near IR camera and you'll see what I mean  :)

Pink: Only good when it’s not super bright or hot. I don’t normally like it on myself but sometimes it creates a nice accent.

Red: Looks good with creepy stuff, but I don’t like it on myself or as a decoration color.

Orange: It looks good on food, and that’s about it. It always looks terrible with blue.

Yellow: It’s nice unless it’s really hard to read.

Green: I don’t like it that much at all. Mint green is okay though.

Blue: It’s a bit overrated, but it works in most cases. Occasionally I like to wear some blues.

Purple: 10/10 best color. I have so much purple you’d think I was obsessed with it.

Brown: It looks fine unless it’s used for something gross.

Gray: It’s nice and atmospheric even though it can easily wash out a color.

White: White is fine but it’s so annoying with cloth. It’s so easy to mess up with any kind of stain.

Black: I like it since I like dark colors but at times it feels so overused you can’t see anything else around it.
