Please don't tell me you are one of THEM" I questioned what "THEM" was, their response "Pedophilic, mentally challenged, neck bearded weirdos who get off on pony porn, those guys are one step away from hunting local play grounds" I just finished the conversation with "actually yeah, I also just bought a big white van, planning on painting free candy on the side. I sincerely hope you realize I am kidding, your previous statement is honestly one if the most ignorant comments I have ever heard, that is like saying because you like CoD that you are an annoying 13 year old with violent tendencies who is likely to shoot up an airport. But the common assumption for some reason is girls show = no recurring male characters.

Probably since most boy shows tend not to have consistant female characters usually (Transformers didn't until what S3 or 4? had mention of them earlier, and ONE quick glimps, but no recurring until Arcee TMK...) 

 

sad thing is.. even the original MLP series/movies had recurring male characters.... not nearly as many, but they did exist!

One time, I commented on the FF IV Victory Fanfare theme saying "My reaction to MLP Season 3 being next month (yeah, this was a while ago) and some jerk went "Begone, Bronyfag" or something like that. Then, another brony started an argument with him, and the jerk went "Just saving America"

Well according to the Brony Study, a large number of people who are autistic or similarly diagnosed, myself included, DO enjoy the show.

 

So there is some truth to that. It's still incredibly rude and ignorant to say we all are though.

I don't know if brony hate just isn't a problem where i'm at or if there are just too few bronies around here for haters to have a very strong presence or what, but I have been lucky enough to only have had that one experience, but honestly I almost want someone to hate on me, sounds to me like it'd be a funny experience and I'd get the added benefit of seeing their expression when I laugh at them their face.
