"Nothing of mine is in any kind a twist, flanky. It's just pricks sometimes annoy the hell out of me. But I can under stand you not like being in groups. I've drunk alone more then once in my life. Good times. But sens we're stuck with each other we might as well get along." She holds out a hoof. "For now, I'm Shivty. My cute friend over there is Muddle. And her smart ass shadow who has one hoof in the grave, who also knows when to keep its mouth shut. Am I right?" She says as she looks over to the shadow with a warning look.

Bright Spark shook her hoof with his head still shoved in the cabinet. "Bright Spark. I make science things for snobby ponies. It works, I get plenty to live off of. And where the hell are these drinks? Surely there's one or two in here..." Eventually deciding that there were no drinks, bight Spark decided to pull over his saddlebag and get a ciggarette from it.

Royal hummed as he walked in, and he noticed there seemed to be very few ponies about. 

It took him a second to say anything.

"No luck for drinks?" He asked, walking in, nodding to Bright Spark. "You would think a bar would be stocked."

He took a flask from his saddlebag, holding it upside down with his magic, sighing as it seemed to be empty.

Bright Spark shook his head. "Nope. probably all taken at some point." He didn't mind. He pulled out a lighter and lit the hanging cigarette that sat in his mouth.

"Nah, don't worry about it. It's not important anyway. And since you need a drink and as a sigh if good faith." She reaches into her bag and pulls out a flask of her own, but full."This is my emergency flask. For when I really need a drink." She opens it and takes a good swig."Aaaahhh, it the strong stuff too." She puts the flask on the counter. "Knock yourselves out." She then head back over to Muddle. "So Muddy, has your turd shadow been giving you much trouble?"

Muddle coughed a little as the smoke started to invade her nostril. She had never seen what the stallion was using before, but she could tell it problly was best she stayed away from the... weird, white, stick... thingy. She saw Shivty walking over towards her again, ask a question about her shadow.

"I will end her!" It thought, lacking the will to say what it felt out loud.

 

Muddle stepped in between the two and said, "It's been fine, really, I even think it's starting to respect you more after you... Oh no... So, how has Bayonet been. I've only gotten to talk to her for such a short time."

 "Oh, she's good. I told her about our date and she seemed happy. She wants to see you again like I did. And since we're stuck here you might get to know her more. And I think it fears me more then respect me. Which is good as well. Anyway."She moves closer to her and gives her the half lidded look again. "How about we find a place with less ponies?"

Muddle looked around the room. Sure the smoke had become a bother to her, but she didn't see why they needed to go somewhere else without them. Still she trusted Shivty, and was willing to go along with her to: Explore, meet other, or just talk. "I don't se~"

 

Her shadow appeared in front of her, it's face blazing with anger. "And Just where did you plan on taking her?" It asked, clearly making a point that Muddle couldn't understand.

"Someplace with just us. So we can talk, maybe do a little more then talk. Get close and comfortable. Other stuff. I can see that there's a staircase so there's an up stairs, so there might be a bed room, so there might be a bed." An excited smile grows on her face. "But it's none of your damn business." She walks the shadow and close to Muddles side. "Shall we Muddy?"

Muddle couldn't even feel her cheeks anymore, and she wasn't sure what to say or do. Her Shadow seemed to have an Idea of what to say to her though. It spoke to Muddle in it's mind.

 

"Muddle, I know we both know that I hate this despicable piece of trash. Wrong, let me rephrase that. Clearly there aren't enough words to describe how much I hate her, but wake up Muddle. She doesn't care for you. Your being used, and I don't care how scared I am. That's not going to happen!" 

 

"... No, but Shivty.~"

 

"Ask her what your favorite color is!" (Let's see if you can get this right.)

With a confident grin on it's face, Shadow stood aside. "Shivty... just," she laughed, "A random little... thing... What's my favorite color?"

 Shivty thinks for a sec."You know, you never told me. Now that I think about it I never asked." She chuckles a little. "And I also never got to tell you mine. But that why I want to talk to you a little more."She puts a hoof on her cheek and gives her a caring look. "I want to get to know you better."

"Quiet!" Muddle felt ridiculous for ever even doubting Shivty. Clearly her Shadow was just angry enough to drive a wedge in between the two... Friends. "Really Shadow this is a new low even for you." Shadow had a very sad look on its face as it retreated back to where it belonged. "This still isn't happening."

 

Muddle wrapped a hoof around Shivty as well and happily said, "Come on, let's go Shivty," She added, more to insult shadow than to inform Shivty. "And my favorite color is blue."

Shivty smiles as she starts leading her to the stairs. "You know, I had a feeling it was blue. Since your jacket is and your head band. And mine and Banys is purple. But I like blue too. I like your eyes shade mostly. They're really beautiful. I sometimes end up staring into them, and I can't look away." She says while doing just that.

Muddle thought that what Shivty said was sweet, and could see her starring. Then a thought had crossed her mind. "Shivty... you know I've never really seen you without those glasses before?" She was curious to know, "You wouldn't mind taking them off, so I can see?"

"Well me an Bany has a stigmatism. So we can't see to well without them." She says as she walks Muddle upstairs and into one of the rooms that only had some boxes and a couch." But since you ask, alright." She takes off her glasses and her eyes go blurry. She leans a little closer to Muddle to get a better look at her. "I can't see a thing." She says with a chuckle.

Bright Spark was now even more disappointing than he was was irritated. "And there they go. Off to do whatever it is ponies do when they're in a long-term relationship and haven't seen each other for a month or so." Bright Spark then realized he had to use the toilet. So he went to the public one. Because he can. Even though there was something odd...

Muddle started to chuckle. Her eyes really were nice... She couldn't describe why, but she felt like joking around with her. Her mind thought of a way she and Shivty could possibly have fun. She used her magic to lift the glasses where Shivty couldn't reach it, and said, "Well it looks like you may need some help walking about now." She took Shivty's hoof and said, "Come on."

Shadow was quietly laughing, "Subtle influences... Maybe now you can see how mean she is!"

 "Aww come on Muddy. Stop joking. I really can't see a thing without my glasses... great, now I sound like Velma." She sighs but chuckles. "Fine lead the way seeing eye pony. Maybe after wards I can give you a treat." She starts scratching under Muddles chin like she would a dog. "Who's a good girl? You are!"

Muddle only laughed, and for once kissed Shivty on the cheek. "Bark, bark." She slowly continued guilding Shivty towards the couch.

 

"... For the love of Luna... Do I need to kill her for you two to stop getting so close? This is making me sick!" Shadow covered its mouth, realizing that it had made a verbal statement in its rage.

 Shivty's smile vanishes when she heard Shadow shout. Her eyesight was still blurry but she could find where she heard it. She get up off the couch and slowly walks over to the shadow with eyes full of great fury. When she get to it she towers over it with a the dark aura like last time. "What was that?" She asks and a deathly calm tone.

Write Worthy's face went red and she lowered her head, embarrassed. "I don't know, that's the problem..." She brushed her bangs out of her eyes and looked up at the pony awkwardly. She wasn't used to talking to strangers since  she was always locked up in her room writing novels. "I was wondering if anypony could tell me the reason."

Bright Spark sighs. "Yet another pony here who has no clue what's going on. You're not alone I can tell you that." This situation was entirely awkward. He took the cigarette out of this mouth for a moment to blow a puff of smoke, before putting it back. "Now go on; get out. I need to use the loo."

After awkwardly nodding, Write Worthy quickly left and sighed. "What the hell is going on here?" She mumbled  some things about needing to finish her manuscript and her lack of knowledge of how she got there. The mare had hoped somepony could tell her what was going on. She stayed a few feet from the john, contemplating the situation.

after using the loo, and washing his hooves vigorously, Bright Spark left the loo and noticed that this mare, had actually waited for him. Or she was just conventionality perched there 'cause she was too lazy to move. Either way. "Alright, i'm done. It's Bright Spark by the way; in case you wanted to know my name." He also realized that he was almost done with his cigarette. That didn't last long at all.
