Yeah, I see that. I just find it odd he'd be like that because of how little Scribbler's had contact with Willow previously. He even trusted Scribbler to go off alone with her earlier, not to mention having saved her from the temple. I just find it to be somewhat confusing, not that that's a bad thing.

Then Orion is being perceived exactly as he was meant to be.

 

Heh, he's not a terribly complex character but he doesn't rationalize things in the same way most folks would - and yes, he was already the paranoid type before being stabbed in the back - that just made things worse. 

 

The way he sees things, he's trying to be a guardian - but he sees enemies everywhere. Anyone and everyone is suspected of being out to hurt them - even the ones he calls friends. The only pony he fully trusts is Willow... and nopony is going to come between them if he can help it, no matter what.

A light cloth armor that has steel "wires" sewn into it. It's enough protection to protect against blades (The steel wires) but not against heavier weapons. Yet it's still light enough to allow her to fly unhindered.

Side note: wow, I know I'm not exactly modest most of the time, but a number of ideas I've been playing with for chapter 3 (presuming we ever get there) all just fell into place in my head, and its awesome.

Her participation in the RP will lead to that. That may be a little ways down the road though. Possibly not.
