This is probably a good case study in how NOT to do a music project. We came up with the idea a long time ago (when the animatics for this episode were first revealed) but didn't make it a high priority until a couple weekends ago. The guitars and vocals were done in like 2 takes, and the video footage was pulled from a variety of 480p and 720p. Still, I figured it was better to release an 80% solution right after the episode aired, than to polish it up and release it 2 or 3 weeks late (when it's a lot less relevant).

Regardless I enjoyed it man! Also releasing it while it is relevent will definately get it more exposure!

I think that the raw, garage feeling you get from the song just makes it a lot better, than how it would have turned out, if you actually sat another 2 or 3 weeks on this golden egg

But we won't know, unless you still think, you want to make the redone version
