movies/tv Favorite Movie Scenes?

The Joker/Batman interrogation room scene in The Dark Knight.  The Dark Knight is one of my favorite films, and this scene is, to me, the high point of the entire film.

Written really well and masterfully played by both Christian Bale and Heath Ledger, especially Ledger.  I love how the tension just escalates here.  The longer the scene goes on, the more you realize how much the Joker is in total control.

Batman can be scary and intimidating, but this is the first time in the series that he genuinely loses his cool.  And by him losing his cool, you see how his usual techniques are totally useless against a man like the Joker.

Really wouldn't considered this as a favorite scene, but its more like favorite funny scene.    The confrontation between Hulk and Loki in The Avengers.

Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back - Luke Skywalker throwing a grenade inside the AT-AT's engine, which resulted in a badass moment of the head explosion and collapsing on its side. TBH, first time i saw that, it was unexpecting.

I apologize for the video dump that is about to occur. This board has triggered my inner movie nerd. I agree with many of them so far and will also include...

(Spoilers in these scenes.)

There are a ton of scenes from The Shining I love, but this one tops them all for me personally.

This part of The Silence of the Lambs.

The pancakes conversation in Fargo.

From Wolf of Wallstreet -- I couldn't stop laughing in the theater minutes after the scene was already done!

Which then plays into this scene:

The classic 2001: A Space Odyssey moment...

Fullmetal Jacket.

I went to see this movie as a joke. This part made the experience for me.

This one comes to mind a lot(mostly I think because it's so emotional and I seem to be in the minority on thinking it was a good send-off for the character)

John McClane's "BOOM" as his lighter creates a trail of fire, blowing up the traitor's plane's.  Such amazing special effects, :D
