Dusknoir is actually kinda shit compared to Dusclops, oddly enough. How it is, though, I'm not sure. Because Dusknoir's stats are higher than Dusclops', although not by much, it's still higher, but it's a tier below it's pre-evolution. Maybe because Dusclops can hold Eviolite and be able to use it. I dunno, it's weird though.

It's purely thanks to Eviolite.  It makes Dusclops way sturdier than Dusknoir.  And considering Dusknoir has low HP and low Speed, the bulk helps out quite a bit.  Hard to get a hit off if you can't go first and die quickly  Low base HP hurts Leftovers recovery, so he's flat out not as bulky as Dusclops.

In the 4th Gen, Dusknoir was a beat who did nothing but spam Pain Split repeatedly. I only killed my first one after using Toxic for 8 turns

Hey Dragon, I think it may be nice for you to know that Psyshock calculates damage based on Rune's Special Attack and Nik's Physical Defense. Does light screen even still work in that case?

It think it does, Psychoshock is still special. But it still did more damage than he expected, hence his moment of rage at the end there.

Ugh, Power-up-Punch seems OP, no wonder I didn't get Gen 5 or 6. 

 

Anyway, I personally prefer the likes of Anger Point on Tauros in a double battle. Have a Critical Hit done to Tauros, it becomes a beast of destruction
