I still don't like the whole part Mew thing... I wasn't a big fan of Sora, and the only reason I'm fine with Raiga is because Raikou isn't a super prominent Legendary. Plus, I feel like the character would start getting annoying after a while, but that's not my biggest issue.

Ampharos does bring up a good point about the age - it is a high school environment.  Guess you could go with the child prodigy route, but that would kinda defeat the purpose of having him be an immature kind of character.

As for this possible Mew character? I unno...personally I don't mind legendaries, nor do I particularly like them. They are OP and basically the Alicorns of pokemon what with their insane powers and legendary statuses.

 

However...if legendary in question presents a good 3 dimensional personality with acceptable flaws and limits, then I can accept that. I allowed Raiga because he was much different than our class of students in a way that he practically has his shit together to be as said previously, a good voice of reason, and that's worked out so far. Even with Nik's tomfoolery Raiga manages to avoid violent confrontation.

 

If you were going to make a legendary pokemon and Mew no less. The original carrier of all DNA in all pokemon today. Would you be able to tell me that you would not make an unstable 18 year old with the mentality of a toddler that probably has no self awareness of his powers in measurement to others, not OP?

Hehe, Raiga keeps getting brought up as an example...  I was honestly prepared to design him as a Luxray if someone had said anything about not wanting a legendary.  Raikou is just my favorite electric type XD  I love my thunder tiger and can't wait until I can get him onto my Y...

It's always gonna be a topic of slight controversy when it comes to role plays. But I'm a strong believer of " if you can make it work and people like it, then roll with it." And so far I see no qualms with it aside the topic itself, but not Raiga as a character being too OP or not fun to Roleplay with.

Ok I'm sorry, but naming him "Bob" is like you aren't even trying. It is literally the most generic name ever. I guess the stipulations are ok, but the name definitely needs to change if he's being added in, which isn't likely honestly, just because Mew is such a mary-sueish pokemon in general. It was basically Arceus before Arceus was around.

All I can imagine now is that the disaster is Matthew meeting someone XD Just cause of how close the two events will most likely be.

 

And yea. Bob definitely would need to change if he was added in (still on the edge about that though, although it's not my decision). But honestly, the Other section is actually a pretty neat premise.

I can't do Mew. I tried a few practice runs and turns out, I can't do any non-serious characters. I'm firmly stuck in Anti-Hero, villain, and Anti-Villains territory since I can't write nice guys for crap.

Nik has labelled Nico as either Batman or Batman wannabe but I always thought of him as the Anti-Nik. Does that make any sense? Oh yeah. The disaster that Nico is sensing will happen sometime around lunch in the RP. Sorry about the trip to town guys.

The question I have there is, how would it blow up? What's producing the electricity? Electric-type pokemon? Oil? Coal? Wind? Plot development? Because the cause of the explosion, if it makes sense, could influence the decision. At least it would in my eyes.
