"Alright, sounds good." He grabbed a pre-wrapped berry salad and lemonade can from the ice bin and set in on Synthia's tray. "There you go." He said as he served himself a bowl of veggie ramen and grabbed a soda pop from the ice bin. He came to the cash register and paid for both his and Synthia's dinner. "There seems to be an open table over there." Rune said, pointing to the nearest vacant table. "That place sound good to you?"

She nodded vigorously and sat down, setting her tray in front of her. Sighing happily, she produced a fork seemingly from nowhere and began eating. Her ears twitched a little, as if she were listening to, or for, something. It was better to be safe than hungry.

Lhee nods quietly but politely at the new student.  It wasn't one he'd met yet, and he wasn't sure what kind of gijinka the boy was...  It was nothing Lhee recognized, anyways.  "...Hey."  He was a little thrown off by the other boy's appearance - Lhee owned about three outfits, and they were all fairly damaged.  The admittedly impressive wardrobe Dark wore was a little difficult for Lhee to grasp.

When Nik suddenly appeared next to him, Lhee just stares at the Smeargle and mutters "Whatever."  Though at the mention of going to bed, it did cause Lhee to look towards the window.  It's getting dark out...  If I'm going to see the stars, I should get outside soon...

Lhee glances back to Dark and tries to give a friendly smile.  It somewhat looks the way he meant it to, then he looks around for Razor.  Speaking to both of them so as not to act like he's ignoring anyone, he rubs the back of his neck with his bone club as he talks.  "Hey, I'll catch up with you later...  The stars are coming out, I need to get outside for a little while."

Nik staggered into the dorm, completely exhausted. Stamina was not his strong point, even on the best of days. Nik yawned as he sat down in the bed, ready to nap. Even with his jacket on, he fell asleep in seconds, twitching slightly as he entered the realm of night

As Sora quietly made his way towards the cafeteria, he continued to ponder. Luckily, his wanderings proved effective in not meeting any of the others in the hallways of the multi-tiered school. He never liked being with others. He never was comfortable with people, Pokemon, or... gijinka. He just wished that he was back at his lab back home.

 

As he entered the door, the place was about half full. He quietly made his way to the line, trying not to be noticed.

"Chi fan hao le- I mean, it's very good." She ate a tad slower than he did, enjoying the flavorful food much more than the Nutripelets she was used to. "Thank you, Mr. Blade, for the food. I really appreciate it. Although, I do have some money to pay for these things."

"It's mandarin. It means, 'The food was good.'" She scratched behind her ear nervously and continued eating, blushing a little more. "Wode mama shi zhongguo ren. My mom is Chinese. If you can call her my mom anyway. Surrogate, I guess." She frowns at her memories of her mom.

Amaya leaned against the door of Dorm 1, sighing as her forhead brushed the smooth wood.

'All I need to do is unpack.. then I can relax..'

Satisfied with this thought, Amaya stood straight, adjusted the duffel bag strap on her shoulder with one hand, and turned the brassy doorknob in her other.

Tentatively, she peeked her fluffy feathered head through the doorway.

"Hello?", She calls softly.

Razor waved goodbye to Nik as he left the library, she didnt really want to go to bed right then or she wouldve followed. Razor's ears perkedat the Marowak's idea of going to look at the stars. Lhee had begun to walk away before she could ask to go with him so she gave a wave goodbye. "And now Im left with strangers." Razor sighed but it wasnt a bad thing so much to get to meet people. She turned to Dark with a smile and quietly said "Hi. Have you.. found any books yet?"

Lolita walked energetically to the school's large cafeteria and bounced over to the line, waiting for Koh to catch up. "I think I will have... veggie ramen! Ooh and soda, thats not too sugary right? Would.it keep me up?" And after her boyfriends response "Aww okay then I'll get a eater." She looked around for a place to sit down, somewhere with other people, shed like.

Zoey was bent over one of her suitcases when she heard the soft greeting, one of her large fox-like ears twitching to pick up the sound.  Without looking up, the Zorua girl calls back to Amaya.  "Yeah, come on in!"  She doesn't look up from her bag just yet, though her tail does wag slightly at the sound of someone else in the room.  "Sheesh, do you think they make rooms with more closet space?  I'm going to have to leave most of my stuff in the suitcases..."

 

As Zoe finally looks up from her bag she turns around to look at Amaya and smiles widely, her small canine fangs poking out of her mouth cutely as her lips curl up.  "Hi!  You must be one of my roommates, right?  I'm Zoey!"  The Zorua girl stands upright, taking a few steps closer to Amaya to introduce herself.  "Hope you don't mind that I already claimed a bed, it didn't look like anyone had checked into the room yet so I figured I had first choice!"  She giggles quietly, her tail wagging again as she looks at the Swanna gijinka.

 

 

 

Lhee

 

Lhee quietly makes his way back outside to the gardens they had visited earlier.  He didn't want to be rude and leave the others like that, but he didn't exactly want anyone to see him doing this either...  It was steadily getting darker, and the first stars would be shining soon.

 

The Marowak boy makes his way over to a large mossy stone, climbing on top of it to get a better view.  As he sits atop it he leans back, letting his bone club lay on the rock next to him as he glances around to see if he's alone.  Tilting his head back to watch the sky, Lhee quietly starts to talk to himself as he watches for the first sign of the night stars.

 

"...This is my first night away from Lavender Town...  I'm sorry I can't visit your grave like I normally do.  Are you still watching, Mom?  I'm trying to make friends like the old man told me to...  It's a lot harder than I thought..."  Lhee starts to feel the moisture welling up in his eyes, as happened most nights, but he didn't bother to wipe it away.  He didn't mind it so long as no one saw him, and simply let the tears slowly build up in the eye sockets of his skull.  

 

"It's been a bit of a bumpy start, I'll try and do better tomorrow though...  The old man said you would have wanted me to have friends.  I guess that makes me a bit of a let down so far, doesn't it?  I'll try harder though...  These people are others like me, so they might understand...  Better then the kids at my old school, anyways.  Would you like that?  You wouldn't have to watch me cry and get in fights anymore...  I want to give you something happier to watch.  If I can figure out how, anyways..."

She looks down and away, offering a nervous laugh. "I don't really know a lot, in truth I'm about as good as a kindergartner, They didn't think it was super important to learn new languages since, as far as they were concerned, I was already a successful experiment."

"I wouldn't get the soda, that'd definitely keep you up." Koh said, chuckling slightly. He ordered a veggie ramen as well, picking up a Fresh Water. He paid for his food and followed his girlfriend to a table and sat down. He started to dig in to his ramen, chomping on his veggies and slurping his noodles. "This is some really good ramen, I really missed it when we were off." Koh mentioned. "How do you like yours?"

I mean, you obviously came out healthy and normal, at least for a Gijinka. I probably shouldn't dwell on it though. It doesn't seem to me like it was a very good experience for you there, sorry..." Rune said, quietly turning back to his noodles.

Amaya smiled, rubbing her eye tiredly as she shut the door behind her with the flick of her hip. So her roomate was a girl? 'Good. I don't think i could sleep in the same room as a boy!'

"Hi, Zoe. My names Amaya.. I don't mind, as long as you left me a bed at all." She laughed, dropping her bags next to empty bed. Amaya pulled the hairties from her hair,letting the white mass to fall as she spun on her heels.

"I'm so tired, I could just.." Amaya accounced brazenly, before falling back on her bed dramatically, arms spread.

" I like your name... Which way do you spell it?" She mumurmured, staring up at the ceiling. How do people socialize again? Too tired to remember

"Well, look on the bright side, at least they let you wait for step 3. Doesn't make what they did right, but it's a silver lining at least." Rune said, blushing slightly. "What I want to know is, does this mean they're still following you? Because these people aren't right. You aren't just an experiment. You're a perfectly normal Gijinka, with sentience and emotion. If they ever try to contact you again, make sure you tell me. I don't think it would be of any good for them to be contacting you again, especially after what they've done to you. I don't just know how to fence, I know how to actually use a sword, so you don't need to worry about them being able to beat me. I know that sounds pretty cocky, but I know my way around a sword, hell, I have a couple of actual sabers in the dorm. I take them with me on the journey for self-defense." He really did, he rarely had to even draw them, but it still helped to have the extra security. He could thank Sir AEgir for that, he had taught him how to use an actual sword, even though he really wasn't supposed to. He even used himself as a target, which wasn't a huge problem considering he wore the suit of armor everywhere, but it still was fairly dangerous.

Zoe giggles as she turns back to her suitcases, carefully pushing each of them under her bed so that her belongings weren't taking up the entire room.  "Z-O-E-Y, but you can call me whatever you want to sweetie."  She hops on her own bed as she winks at Amaya, looking over the other girl.

 

"I like your hair...  Not many people could pull off white hair, it looks good on you though.  I've tried it before, and it just makes me look like a Zangoose."  As though to prove her point, Zoey's black hair would change to white in the blink of an eye.  No flashy lights or sounds, just one moment it was black and the next moment it was white.  The red highlights stayed the same, though.  "See?  Totally look like I should be out getting in a fight with a Seviper or something."

Dustin looked up from his book with baggy eyes and looked outside. When did it get so dark? I guess I'll just go to my dorm for now...  The Sandshrew gijinka got up from his seat and walked quietly back to his room. He walked in, not realizing if anyone was in there or not and sat on his bed, opening his book once again. 

 

Fernmint looked outside and sighed, cursing in what sounded like greek or latin. "I guess there's no point in bringing you this late. Stop by my office tomorrow as soon as possible please. Good night Mister Walters." Zach nodded a goodbye and watched as the Serperior man walked off. He then made his way to dorm number one and found two girls inside. One looked like a Swanna and the other... possibly a Zangoose. Huh... guess the rooms aren't gender specific then... Zach coughed and made his way into the room. "Hey there. Zach." He introduced himself briefly and sat on the only unoccupied bed.

 "Alright Damon I'll catch you later!" Dusk said as he saw the Blaziken walk off towards the dorm.

 

"What was I doing again...it felt like I was floating here for hours...and from the looks of things, most of all the Gijinkas have gone to bed..oh man I'm going to be all alone and up all night!" Dusk said starting to sweat a little. He didn't want to seem like he was haunting the halls, perhaps if he had company...wait a minute what did that Zorua Gijinka say?

 

"She's a dark-type...she DID say I can bother her if I'm up all night...ehhh It's good to make new friends so why not?" Dusk floated back towards the dorms once again and was having a bit trouble staying on his main task of star gazing, though he didn't want to stay out at night without company. He didn't mind the presence of a Dark type at all anyways, they never really bothered him.

Dusk had arrived at the dorm he was at before, plus it was right next door to his so it was easy to find. He decided NOT to pull his little prank from before and merely talked through the door followed by some knocking.

Lolita started to answer Kohs question after tasting some of her much missed veggie ramen. It seemed to be better than last years to her so she gave it a "Really good!" The skitty was looking for other people and saw quite a few gijinka scattrres around the room, and soon a lab coated character appeared in the room, standing out to her. "Hey!" She waved, he lookes like he didnt really know anyone. "Do you wanna sit over here? Because like I dont know you and you look super awesome ans maybe we can be friends!" The last few parts of thi were more softly spoken, but still clearly able to be heard since Lolita has a loud voice.

Zoe's ears perk up when Zach enters the room, and she quickly drops the illusion over her hair color to let it go back to her natural black.  Bringing her hands up to smooth out her ears and run them through her hair, she growls playfully while looking at the Samurott gijinka.  "Oooo, hello...  Are you our third roommate?  Hehehe, I'm Zoey...  This is looking like it's going to be a fun year..."

Before she could say anything more, there was a knock at the door.  Zach had answered it before she could get up, and she grins as she sees Dusk over the other boy's shoulder.  "Oh, hey Duskie!  What's up?"  She gets up from her bed to saunter over towards the door to see what was going on, teasingly running a finger across Zach's back as she steps up next to her new roommate.

Dusk chuckled and sat upright in his floating sitting position surprised to see a wicked cool looking Samurott at the door followed by Zoey, there was another person in the room by the looks of it but he couldn't see past the other two to know who it was, twas more terrible he had poor eyesight as well. 

 

"Hi there! I'm Dusk by the way sir and sorry if I'm bothering you guys, but I was wondering if you were doing anything else tonight? I'd go around the hallways by myself but then it'd just look like I was haunting them in the middle of the night. Any of you guys care to join me in a moonlit float around the school?"

 

He asked them all hoping he wasn't intruding and over stepping his boundaries to people he just met.
