Zach sighed and rolled his eyes as Zoey walked in. Welp, guess she doesn't care if Dusk knows. Pretty soon the whole freakin schools gonna know about him. He grabbed his jacket off the Castform, who had actually been pretty visible when the jacket was on him due to Zach's rush, and put it back on.

Nik picked out a Sandshrew tail from his bag and moved to a table of his own, pondering his thoughts. Where was the Zorua gjinka? She was rare and that meant she had rare moves, moves which Nik would love to learn. Nik slowly sucked on the Slowpoke tail, waiting.

Dusk blinked several times as Zoey walked on in and removed Zach's jacket from the hidden pokemon.

 

"I was just going to suggest we...all go eat breakfast together...is that a Castform?" Dusk asked as he stared at the little guy as it stared right on back at him.

 

"Wooow, I've never seen a Castform up close before...just in books. They're said to borrow their powers from nature, sometimes even control it. There's the sun form, the rainy form, and the snowy f- wait...what's a Castform even doing here?" Dusk asked as he looked at all three residents of Dorm 1.

 

"...Are we even allowed to have pokemon on the premises!? Oh man this is bad, this is waaaay bad, this could be trouble! You guys could get in trouble! There could be consequences! There could be CONSETROUBLENCES! And I'm a witness! Oh gods, ohhhh by the gods we have to do something!" Dusk said letting his hyperactive worrying getting the better of him. He didn't want his friends getting in trouble, but he couldn't help but think ahead of what might happen....that and he's pretty easy to get all worked up.

She laughed lightheartedly. " Isn't a bit early to get so worked up Dusk? And anyways-" On a second thought, she backtracked to her bed,  and extracted her mobile from the duffel bag at the foot of her bed. It was a simple light blue flip-phone with a shimmery Vanillice charm dangling from the phone strap.

" Even if you choose to keep him here, the staff will only find out eventually, right? It's hard to keep a pokemon hidden." Amaya knew from past experience. Once she had tried to keep a Rattata as a secret pet, but it had chewed it's way  through most of her furniture by the weeks end. " More importantly, breakfast. I want some Tea~.. We can go after i change, is that okay?" With that, she made her leave. " I'll be back in two shakes of a Pidgey's tail."

 

Boop. Amaya outie.

 

She got there in fairly decent time and quickly got changed. (Insert magical girl transformation here.) As she did up the last few buttons on her blouse, Amaya remembered something. By now, she would usually be halfway through her early morning ballet practice.

Ballet... I won't have my usual lessons anymore, will I. Ballet, Piano, Violin or Etiquette or Business Lessons.

 

Not that I mind...

 

With a sigh, Amaya pushed open the door and made her way back to Dorm 1,, and opening her mobile with a click. * 11  MESSAGES FROM: Papa*  Oh lordy. She went away to school, not to War! He didn't have to be so worried.

Zoey laughs and waves a hand dismissively at Dusk, reaching to pick up Castform.  "Honestly Duskie, you worry too much.  To answer your question, I found this little guy last night wandering the halls after everybody took off in different directions.  He freaked out on me when I tried to bring him to a teacher, so I think he probably knows at least one of them...  Zach had the idea that we should find a psychic gijinka to translate what he's saying."

 

She steps a little closer to the Duskull boy and winks at him.  "If you're that worried, you can help us look..."  Zoe giggles quietly before holding up Castform in front of him.  "I mean, just look at this little cutie.  If there's something wrong, don't you just want to help figure out what it is!?"

Dusk swallowed a gulp when he was met face to face with the little pokemon. Behind that cute little face was a disaster waiting to happen...behind that adorable exterior was suspension or even expulsion....behind that positively..undeniably......adorable....cute....

 

"Daaaaaw....lookit his little cheeks...and that little bitty smile, he's just the darnedest little thing~"  Dusk replied back as he reached his hands out and carried the little fella. Bringing it towards himself he nuzzled the little thing as he did a little twirl as he floated about the room.

 

"Alright, alright I'll help..too bad I don't have Psychic...where do you suppose we start looking? Everyone's practically in the lunchroom right now if we're just scoping out for Psychic Gijinkas....that and I'm pretty famished.." Dusk said as he sheepishly smiled under his mask.

Nik got up, having sucked the Slowpoke tail dry. The energy of a ghost or dark type was hard to track, he couldn't find the Zorua gjinka anywhere. Well, there went a chance to learn some dark type moves. Wait, there was a very distinctive flying type signature. And next to it....yes, there was an empty space that usually meant ghost or dark type. Nik smirked as he placed his fingers on his fore head and teleported right in front of Amaya. 

 

"Where is the Zorua gjinka? Nik asked, giving the girl a cold look.

Zach stood up quickly and glared at the gijinka who just teleported in. He looked at Amaya in a mean sort of way, and that made the Samurott boy uneasy. He nudged Nik a little ways a away from Amaya and stuck a thumb towards Zoey. "She's right there. What do you want?" Zach felt a slightly hostile air around Nik and wasn't about to let him get near anyone in the room that easily.

Dusk looked towards the sudden appearance of Nik and immediately placed Castform in the hands of Amaya while he floated forwards next to Zach, as if forming a wall with him. He glared along with him as the glowing red eye behind his mask became more vivid and deep in hue, he most definitely hasn't forgotten what went down last night but even if Dusk was rendered useless in this situation again, he'd do all he can. Just seeing Nik's cold stare lit up that wispy flame of anger in Dusk's cold ethereal heart.

 

"That teleport has restrictions here, don't exploit it to barge into someone else's dorm, that's punishable by expulsion.." Dusk was well acquainted with the rules, he'd been reading the student handbook issued to students before they're sent to the Academy for quite sometime after yesterday. Of course this makes him a real goody-two shoes for worrying and following the rules, but he was a strong believer in Order.

The lost Synthia had been engrossed in a map for a while, trying to find her way, when she accidentally ran into Nik hard enough to knock herself off balance. She turned to make sure she didn't land on her bow and mumbled a sorry before trying to walk away.

Amaya squeaked, and stumbled backwards abit. Her mobile practically flew from her hand and knocked him just under the chin. Maybe it was reflex. Maybe she did it on purpose. The world may never know. She pressed her hand over her heart, and breathed. 

"Why would you go and...Oh, never mind." She leaned over, and picked her phone up gingerly. Amaya murmured to herself. "Zorua...gijinka.." Right, that was what Zoe had introduced herself as! But Nik was... to put it frankly, a real jerk butt. And what did he want Zoe for, to pick a fight with her!? Maybe he was going to tease her or something! No no, she couldn't let that happen! " N-Nik, c-could you... could you not bother my.....friends." As she spoke, her voice became more quiet with each word she forced passed her lips. Sure, he was a jerk butt. A big big one. But conflict made her want to run and hide.

Castform

 

How surprising it was for the little ghost pokemon, for people to be so affectionate, and abrasive ( even if he didn't exactly know what abrasive means. He has heard the word before and it seemed fitting for this situation.) The Castform kind of just... submitted to his fate, and let the girly and little Mister dote over him. It's not like he liked it or anything, b-bakas....

He remembered seeing the event last night and Nik being a big twat, and with the way he talked to Dusk, it was really starting to get Zach pissed off.

Zoe blinked, unsure of what was going on but knowing it had something to do with her.  She recognized the newcomer as the weird Smeargle gijinka who had slid down the wall last night.  And while she hadn't actually seen what had happened, all of her friends seemed to have some kind of grudge against him...  Granted, she didn't really appreciate that he had teleported into their room.

 

Standing up from her bed she walks a little closer, peaking over Zach and Dusk's shoulders.  It normally would have made her giggle to see her new friends seemingly trying to protect her like this, but right now she was still trying to figure out what was happening.  "Umm...  Did you need something?"  Her ears twitch slightly with curiosity, sparing a glance at Amaya when the other girl speaks up.  Did I miss something?  I totally missed something.  Why would he come to bother us?

'What's the matter with Dustin? He hasn't said a word at all during the walk to the cafeteria.' Arriving at the cafeteria, Joshu saw it was packed with gijnkas. Joshu went over to the buffet table and looked over the choices. He grabbed a few random things and looked for a place to sit.

"Where do you want to sit Dustin?" Joshu asked his silent companion.

Melissa looked up from her cereal bowl and noticed it was more packed than before, when she came in. 'Where are my friends? I thought they would have been here by now. I think I'll look for them, starting with Dorm 1.' With that thought in mind Melissa put her stuff away and headed off to Dorm 1. When she arrived at Dorm 1,she noticed a confrontation between Zach, Dusk and the Smeargle she saw last night. "What's happening here?" Melissa asked the group.

Rune finished his breakfast. He pulled out his schedule and checked it. "Battle class first. Good." He put away his trash and headed towards the gym. "I think this will be fun. After learning Power-Up Punch over the break, I should be much more capable with physical attacks." Rune chose a spot on a bleacher and sat down. He put in his headphones and tuned back to his audiobook.

Razor could see various groups all seperated in the cafeteria. She wasn't much for sitting with strangers, but there seemed to only be a few spots open for them to sit by themselves. "Umm.. over-uhh.. here!" Razor pointed to an empty space on a table with random other gijinka around on the other side. "I really don't know where else we can sit, it's a pretty crowded room this morning. But if you want to sit like at another table we can!" The leafeon averted her eyes towards the table and mumbled the rest of her words, "Since.. ya know.. I'm not too good at picking..." 

Now for food! Umm.. yeah we have time still!  "Anyways! I will go in the line for food!" Since she'd sped off, so she decided she'd get Lhee's breakfast also. She sped back to the table with two plates and set them down then herself. 

Razor heard some commotion and saw it was Nik who was causing it, "We got one great roommate, huh?" She sarcastically joked.

Nik snarled but reigned in his anger. The Zorua gjinka was right there in front of him, he had to keep up a good impression! Still, he couldn't let this go by. Nik used Lock On on Synthia. While his version didn't gurantee a hit, it did make her trackable.

"I am not bothering anyone, unprovoked" Nik dismissed, giving her a look

"Oh?" Nik said smugly before walking out of the room and into the hallway. "There, I'm out" Nik snickered, thinking himself rather clever.

"Nothing much, just me attempting to make friends but being rejected" Nik lied, giving a hurt look

"Yes, you're the one I came to see. You look pretty, I do say. But my main point is, could you teach me your Dark Type moves?" Nik asked courteously

Zoe giggles, one of her ears twitching.  "What, is that what this is all about?  I'm sorry sweetie, but I can't...  No, I don't mean won't, I literally can't."  She shrugs as she turns to walk back towards her bed, going about finishing getting ready so they could go get breakfast.  She picks up a brush and starts to brush her hair as she explains.

 

"See, I don't use my moves the way most dark types do.  I'm a Zorua gijinka, and Zorua and Zoroark have natural abilities with illusions.  My natural powers effect my moves, rather I want them to or not...  So, the way I end up using them, it would be impossible for me to teach to someone other than another Zorua or Zoroark."  She shrugs slightly, clicking one of her small claws against the handle of her brush as she does.  "Again, sorry hon."

 

With the way her friends were reacting towards Nik, something told her it would have been a poor decision to agree to teach the Smeargle even if she could...  So for now she was somewhat thankful for the uniqueness of her moves.  Her illusions may have made it difficult to find moves she was compatible with, but they had kept her out of a tough situation this time.

Lhee rolled his eyes, taking the time to eat a few bites of his breakfast before replying.  "Don't get me started...  Not two minutes after meeting Brush-Butt, he's making cracks about my skull.  He's no better than the humans at my old school."  Lhee's hand clenches around his bone club under the table for a moment before he makes himself relax his hold on the tool.  "...Sorry.  I don't want to ruin your breakfast by getting upset over nothing."

"Attempting to make friends. Right. This is how you make friends. Take last night for example. Remember how I tried to make friends with you? That's how. Or were you too tired to remember?" Melissa asked him. She didn't wait for an answer.

"If either of you don't mind I'm going to class which happens to be ... battle class." She checked her schedule and headed to the gym with her map acting as a guide. When she got there, she noticed yet another gijinka. She couldn't figure out which one he was though.

Melissa was very curious to see how battle class works and she wanted to know more about Rune Blade, if she could. She sat down next to Rune and waited for the other students.

"Well, Battle Class, we generally have controlled battles to hone our skills and learn what certain moves do and why some are important, especially those that are underused, like moves that take away a turn but cause changes in either yours or your opponents 'stats'." He said, feeling a bit smug for showing off his knowledge. "As for the book I'm listening to, it's a fantasy novel, about dragon riders and magic and the like."

"Battle class sounds interesting. I wouldn't mind learning about stat change moves and the like. I know Aqua Ring and Aqua Tail bit I'm not sure if they count as stat changing moves." Melissa grew quiet as she contemplated whether her moves were stat changing ones or not.

"Well, I know two moves that can affect my stats, those being Power-Up Punch and Close Combat." Rune noted. "Power-Up Punch will increase my Attack if I land a hit, but Close Combat will lower my Defense and Special Defense if I use it. I prefer to go all-out attacking, as you can probably tell. If I can take my opponent down quickly, I won't need to worry about bulk."
