A Black Circle 1,586 May 26, 2015 Share May 26, 2015 I was an asexual once and then I took an a- staying away from that meme. I am currently in a weird limbo. I'm not currently sexually attracted to anyone, but I'm hetero, and I'm not looking ARGH MY HEAD HURTS Today I took an arrow to the knee (had to say it). Said arrow was coated in realization that alternate sexuality isn't wrong, just impractical and unintentional. So I really don't know. 1 Biscuit. Unikitty 1,212 May 26, 2015 Share May 26, 2015 (edited) @Kelario Read every post in this thread I've made. You can change. Oh wow! If only we'd been quick to spread the word! Then all those non-heterosexuals in countries all around the world could have saved themselves from being beaten and slaughtered! If only somebody had told Alan Turing that becoming straight was simply a case of looking at some breasts and thinking "Dayum, dems some fine tittays!" It was so clear, all this time these people could have simply changed their sexuality. Do you yet see how daft you sound? Anyways, back on topic. I'm not Asexual but have both homosexual and asexual friends. All of which unanimously agree that it's not something they can blink and be rid of. Yes, that includes one of my best friends who is currently being disowned by his mother for not being straight. But I'm sure with a little hard work and self-confidence he can once again enjoy dem tittays. Edited May 26, 2015 by Unikitty
Dsanders 5,747 July 31, 2015 Share July 31, 2015 Although I've contemplated this multiple times in the past when I was sexually confused, I have long since come to the conclusion that I'm not asexual. I'm a pretty sexual person to be honest ... don't hurt me :c But you guys have my support in being who you are and living the life you want despite what our overly-sexualized society may expect from you. I wonder if asexuals also have to deal with fear, intolerance, ignorance, and hate like homosexuals, bisexuals, etc.
LadyCoco 130 July 31, 2015 Share July 31, 2015 (edited) Oh guys, this post is a mess, really. The first part is knowing that there are is diference between sexual and romantic attraction. You can be asexual and not aromantic. An asexual person is not sexually attracted to people but there are asexuals that have libido and like sex. And there is nothing wrong with that. An aromantic person is not romantically attracted to people. What is this? Romantic attraction is usually defined as a desire to form a romantic relationship with a person. Ac3xAssasin 453 July 31, 2015 Share July 31, 2015 (edited) I identify myself as an asexual; however, I still have some sexual thoughts, but I have absolutely no desire nor motivation to seek out a sexual relationship. It just does not appeal to me at all. I also really dislike full on pornography (I guess that explains why I have such a strong NOPE!!! reaction to clop images) and get kinda grossed out when I see depictions of sexually explicit activities, I still spank the monkey (I had no idea how else to word that ) but mostly as a form of release, plus the stuff I get off to is seriously watered down and could be considered suggestive at best. I am a strong independent man and I don't need no woman! Edited July 31, 2015 by Ac3xAssasin
Lightwing 12,973 July 31, 2015 Share July 31, 2015 I'm not exactly an asexual, but I lean towards it, due to being Demisexual, which hinders my sexual attraction towards others unless I have a deep emotional bond with them. ~~ Forum Rules - Forum FAQ - What do you think of me? ~~

Don't plan on having sex ever? Not necessarily, some Asexuals do masturbate (note I dont but still), So Asexuals can be turned on by fetiches and such, the only thing really is that they dont want to have sex. Like they might like how masturbation feels but still not want to have sex. I wonder if asexuals also have to deal with fear, intolerance, ignorance, and hate like homosexuals, bisexuals, etc. From my experience no one really cares,I think that is because most people don't even know what it is LOL! But if they have no sexual orientation, what um...do they masturbate too? How do they know if they just don't have a low sex drive? That's very common in people. Having a low sex, or no sex drive/ low libido means you don't want to have sex or do any sexual things, but still have a sexual orientation,

Misty Rose 3,216 August 1, 2015 Share August 1, 2015 I considered myself asexual for years since I was always ostracized in school for not liking any of the guys. I had no crushes and that was considered unorthodox. I brushed it off as no big deal....but deep down I really hated being called a lesbian for not being attracted to guys Now that I've had my first boyfriend I realized I am indeed not asexual. Though I don't really know if I can ever be physically attracted to someone from the start. Even when my ex asked me to be his girlfriend I still hadn't completely understood whether I truly had feelings for him or not, but after awhile I realized I really was in love with him....but I don't know how that can translate to irl My OC: http://mlpforums.com...pink-mist-r3726 TELL ME WHAT YOU THINK OF ME HERE!! Unfortunately, you're wrong on both counts. For starters, while a good number of Asexuals are Sex-Repulsed (myself included), Asexuals can still freely have sex, some still do on a regular basis for various reasons. The distinction however is they don't feel any sexual attraction towards it. I would compare it to having a food you don't like, but don't really hate, you just get nothing out of it. Secondly, Asexuals face just as much prejudices as any other non-straight sexuality, sometimes from other LGTB members themselves, who think they're just trying to be special or are afraid of identifying as homosexual. Being asexual must be really cool. No marriage, divorce or alimony. That's a lot of money saved for important things like Fallout 4. ...I really hope you're joking, because otherwise that's really offensive. Asexuals can still fall in love, get married, have kids, ect. aoEAF2FBvC0MIo2Q 3,673 August 1, 2015 Share August 1, 2015 (edited) Asexuals can still fall in love, get married, have kids, ect. Indeed. Just because someone is asexual doesn't mean that they are aromantic by extension. For anyone wondering, let me explain. There's a difference between having sexual or physical attraction (whichever you prefer to call it) and falling in love. Those two things aren't mutually inclusive. For example, it's perfectly possible for someone to be asexual but panromantic (I know a person like that). It means that such a person feels no sexually-driven attraction to anyone regardless of gender but that they are capable of having a loving relationship with someone regardless of gender. Arylett Charnoa 4,919 August 1, 2015 Share August 1, 2015 I just call myself "bisexual" for short-hand. It's far simpler than explaining intricacies nobody cares about. However, I am pretty asexual towards real, live-action humans. I do not find them to be sexually attractive save a few exceptions, most of them females. And sometimes, I get in weird rare moods where I'm into that. My sexuality fluctuates constantly. Sometimes I'm in the mood for certain things. The closest thing to human that I have an attraction to is anime girls. (and males on occasion) However, I'll go for you if you've got a compatible personality with me. Hence why I call myself "bisexual." People understand that, and I don't have to confuse them with weird poorly defined jargon that they don't know about. To be honest though, whilst I do find written less realistic descriptions of certain activities to be attractive, the physical act of sex itself seems repulsive, not to mention troublesome and stressful. Even touching people is something I have trouble with. Physical intimacy is one of my weaknesses, as most of my interactions are with virtual space. So I am asexual to a degree. Very weird specific degrees. 2 Aether Velvet is the name of the OC in my avatar. Drawn by me. Deviantart

Sugar Cube 4,843 August 1, 2015 Share August 1, 2015 I've questioned my sexuality for a long time now, and while I'm still not 100% sure of myself, I've always believed asexual was a pretty fitting label for me if I had to pick one. I have felt attractions to other people, typically males, but I don't know if I'd describe those feelings as sexual per se. The thought of sexual activities really doesn't... do anything for me. I just lack any desire for it. There's always the off chance that I'm just really picky and my dream person hasn't come along yet, but I really don't think such a person exists, and if they did, I'm fairly certain I'd still wish to abstain from that kind of intimate contact. That doesn't necessarily mean I'm aromantic though. I still desire that special closeness one would find in a romantic partner. I'm not exactly ready for it at the moment, but I don't want to die alone either xD.
Lunatic Cake 1,618 August 1, 2015 Share August 1, 2015 I'm A...nimesexual... I've developed several crushes on Anime characters. Does that count? What? I'm annoying you? I'm sorry... Aside from one real crush (which is really sick but that's not the point here...), that's about it for me as well. Wouldn't call myself completely Asexual but definitely not that much into relationships. I have a really romantic side about myself though and like the idea of having a loved one I can spend all of my time with together. 3 Sig by: Kyoshi
