music Who's been to a Concert?

I've only been to one concert before, but it still is the best day of life (so far).

I went to my favorite band Rush on their last tour on September 18th, 2012. I went to go see them at The Palace of Aurburn Hills near Detroit. I remember the whole place was packed and almost sold out. I remember talking to some old stoner and how he was a fan since 1974. I also bought a Rush baseball jersey for $100, but it was worth.

 

I'm trying to talk my parents into bringing me to see Sting and Paul Simon for their next tour, but I highly doubt that's going to happen.

 

Anyway, who's been to a concert and how was the experience?

I've also gone to a Gym Class Heroes Concert at my college.

Damn i envy you <.< i want to see rush live, but hey doubt they'll ever come close to my country . Well i've been to a concert before, a metal concert, three bands. Wisdom, Eluveitie and Sabaton. I am planing to go to Metaldays this year

I went to see a Christmas concert at the University of Mary Washington 2 years ago and some other concert last spring, I don't even remember who preformed, I just went to make a friend happy

I really want to go to more concerts, but they just cost WAY too much now.  Anywho, I've been to Winterjam 2012 when Skillet Headlined.  Awesome band live.  I want to go to Mayhem or Lollapalooza or Bonnaroo.

I saw Muse live on December 7th 2013 and I really enjoyed seeing them live. I'm going to be seeing Nine Inch Nails and Queens Of The Stone age live this year in march.

I saw Alice Cooper is summer '12

 

my god, he really puts on an AWESOME show and sounded great. I love Alice so much.

 

Also saw Brian "Head" Welch (ex - KoRn) he was good too but not really my style.

I went to see Basement Jaxx back in December. It was amazing I was jumping so much I almost passed out by the end. It was also one of the duo's birthday too and they sang happy birthday to him on stage.

Nice. I actually enjoy Christian rock myself, mainly Fireflight and Building 421. I think my friend went to WinterJam one time.

I went to see Rush in September 2012 at the Scottrade Center in St. Louis It was an awesome performance. Hopefully I can go to more concerts in the future.

I've been to System of a Down concert. I went there on 13 August 2013 during their Reunion Tour. It was in Łódź, Poland (i live near this city, so I said to myself "you must go there" ). It was amazing experience. To feel a thousands of people, to pogo with them xD and of course to hear and see one of my favourite bands. I also have plans to go to Black Sabbath concert (they'll play also in Łódź on 11 June) and to Przystanek Woodstock (probably one of the best rock music festivals in my country  ).

I got to see Bruno Mars in concert back when he was barely a blip on the music radar. His single "Just the Way You Are" had just been released, and he wasn't famous enough to book a big venue yet, so he came to a small venue about an hour away from my hometown. David Archuleta was there too, if any of you know him. He got 2nd place on American Idol a few years ago, but his music career never really flew off the ground.

 

My friend and I also went to see Theory of a Deadman recently at the Kansas State Fair. It was awesome!

i have been to a LOT of 'concerts'! 

most of them where edm festivals/parties tough, and they where amazing! 

i'm going to another one called 'machtig' in two days and exactly 2 weeks after that one i'll go to 'shock outdoor (massive winter edition)', that one is gonna be awesome!

after that there is ofcourse 'kings of core' in club huizemaas, and the 'sunsation' festival.

 

oh, and i almost forgot the 'district one' festival on the 1st of march! i'm attending that one too!

yeah i have enough planned already

That concert was loud as HELL and Bullet for my valentine played they were alright but I really came to see Airbourne.

 

I have seen Iron Maiden / Alice Cooper in 2012

 

I wish I had a video of them playing live they were amazing Iron Maiden was my all time favorite.

 

I have also seen Red, 3 Days Grace, Breaking Benjamin and Seether live back in 2007.

 

I went to a Winter Jam back in 2010 and saw Skillet live. I really want to go to another concert soon.

I've been to a few concerts in my day. I think these are all of the ones I've been to

• American Idol Season 5 tour (For Kellie Pickler)
• American Idol Season 8 tour (For Adam Lambert)
• Adam Lambert concert at my local casino. Such an amazing night!
• Warped tour year 1. It wasn't that fun. My favorite band was on last and it was so mother fucking hot, I had to leave early and miss them.
• Warped tour year 2. At least I got to see some bands I liked, and I got some signatures. It was fun and all, but I'm never doing Warped Tour again.
• Blood on the Dance Floor concert. (Don't judge me, I was only 13.)
• I spent like 8 hours driving all the way to Missouri to see Katy Perry. I had a blast! Her concerts are fun.
• I saw Black Veil Brides at a local venue. It was a fun night.
• I saw Avenged Sevenfold (and Hollywood Undead, Asking Alexandria, and Black Veil Brides) at my local Arena style venue. Man, that was an awesome night!
• The next concert I know I'll be going to is the Steam Powered Giraffe concert at an Anime Convention I'm going to in June.

Actually, I remember when I was pretty young going to see Aaron Carter. I doubt anyone actually remembers him though.

 

Awesome, that's my favorite band too! I've seen them four times before, they're amazing live.

I want to see them live again so bad because they're that good. Hopefully they have one more tour in them.
