What was your first episode?

The mare do well episode, if I'm remembering right it's called 'The Mysterious Mare Do Well', or something of similar context :P Though of course, I, like many others, am not one to start halfway through, the first full episode I watched was Season 1, Episode 1.

It's awesome because my best friend watched the same first episode and we joined the fandom at the same time, even before we meet

My first episode was Bridle Gossip. After that, I kinda left the show alone for a while. Then I watched It's About Time.

Rescue at Midnight Castle... oh wait, you said FiM. Sorry, went back to the first episode of MLP I ever saw. Friendship is Magic Part 1.

Uninterestingly enough, I believe it was the first two episodes of course. Though, I think I watched only the first seven or so episodes, then I skipped to Return of Harmony because my friend was like, 'Dude, so, you'll love Discord', was like 'k brahski', and then I fell in love with chaos, then went back to finish season one before continuing season two XD

Number 1 was number 1 for me. This was early in the days of the fandom and before I had a lot of people to recommend certain episodes as a starting point. I prefer to start at the beginning anyway. First episode was all it took to hook me anyway.

My first episode was Dragonshy. I saw it playing on TV a few days after hearing about how these so called "bronies" liked a show about candy colored horses passionately. I thought it was cute for little kids, but it didn't make much of an impression on me. It took me a few months to go back to the show and watch the series from start to finish...two seasons in a week, I am not ashamed to say :)

My first episode watched was Magic Duel. Weird place to start, but it was good enough and non-brony friendly (ie, not too cheesy or too much) that it encouraged me to watch more.

Since I originally watched My Little Pony as a joke, or curiosity, or whatever - I watched from the first result that came up on YouTube when I searched "My Little Pony", which was Season 2 Episode 7 - May the best pet win.

Instantly feel in love with the show (and Rainbow Dash)

Actually, the first episode I watched was from the original one in the late 1980's (I forgot it!), but the first FiM one was Hurricane Fluttershy which is when I decided to become a Brony

My first episode was Party of One.  I had heard of the bronies, saw some small clips, and one day I saw the whole episode on recommended videos on youtube.  I had nothing to do, so I watched it.

I had no idea what I was getting into.

I laughed at some of the jokes, and once Pinkie began following Rainbow, I was sold...and kinda scared.  But I still felt so much sympathy for Pinkie when she gave up, thinking her friends no longer liked her, only to be met with the infamous "Pinkamena" scene.  I didn't even know about Cupcakes, but I was still creeped out as hell.  What...what was I watching?

Then I decided to go and watch the first episode, and went off from there.
