I loved The Secret of NIMH when I was a kid. Mrs. Brisby was such a lovable character :squee:

Twas such a dark movie and it used to scare me but it still stands as one of my favorites :)

All Dogs Go To Heaven 2 was always a favorite of mine (don't actually know if it was a Bluth movie or just the sequel to one and made by someone else but who cares? :D )

I also like Secret of NIMH 2 more than the original.

The Secret of NIMH, and Titan A.E.

I've been a fan of Don Bluth movies since my first time seeing Secret of NIMH as a kid. I was too young to understand the intricacies of the story, but the voice acting, smooth animation and dark feel attracted me instantly. I still watch it faithfully now, and I have a much deeper respect for it now that I'm able to pick it apart and derive my own meaning from it.

Titan A.E. gets a lot of flak from most of the Bluth fans that I know for being a bad movie, but I disagree. It's got the fluid storytelling and animation you'd expect from a Don Bluth movie, and I've always been a fan of sci-fi movies, so this one really hit home. I do have some problems with the story and characters, but not enough to stop me from watching it whenever an opportunity comes up.

Yep, I'm a huge Secret of Himh fan as well as the Land Before Time (only the first one!!!).  Don Bluth philosophy on animation and storytelling is still, to this day, simply brilliant.

Titan A.E. may have had its fair share of faults, but it also had some incredibly brilliant moments.  Not to mention an awesome soundtrack.  Thanks for pointing out it's one of Don Bluth's films.  I somehow missed that.

Mine is definitely The Secret of NIMH. I don't know why all Don Bluth movies get crap for not being Disney. With Rockadoodle, I agree that it's too cheesy, but I love NIMH, I like it more than just about every non-Pixar Disney film.

The soundtrack to Titan A.E. was how I was able to identify it after I got older. I'd only seen it once years ago, and the animation seemed familiar when I stumbled upon it again, but I instantly recognized it by the music, that I never stopped listening to since my first time seeing it.

Anastasia is one of my most favourite animations, I might even say, FILM, of all time. I loved everything about it. The characters, the songs, the story.

But then I found out the true story and everything changed. So sad.

I love The Secret of NIMH! I watched it in third grade after my class read the original book and I was surprised at how many differences there were. It's one of my all-time favorite animated movies.

Ah, yes. Don Bluth. The brother Walt Disney would have wanted to have.

The Land Before Time for me. Such an enjoyable movie. Though, a bit cheesy at times.

All Dogs to Heaven was also cool. But It felt like it needed what the sequel had. An awesome villain.

The Land Before Time

Titan A.E

All Dogs Go To Heaven

I've always liked The Land Before Time as a little kid. All Dogs Go To Heaven was pretty good, too. Even though there was a reason my cousins had to tease it.

Well, for me, that would be Secret of NIMH. It really back the best combination of story, characters, animation, and music that allowed to rival and even excel over many other Disney classics. I also would like to point out Land Before Time, All Dogs Go to Heaven, and An American Tail (1st & 2nd).

I also have some fond memories of Rock-a-doodle, but that movie doesn't hold up as much, though I still love the bouncer song. XD

Love this scene from NIMH...
