But anyhow, I think Rarity trying to pass off as a farm pony was adorable, but I would've like to see her attempt to do more farm work-- with hilarious results!

 

And, in a way, AJ kinda had the upper hoof when she posed as Apple Jewel, as she already got a taste of upper class life of city Ponies…

 

All in all, still a cute episode!

I thought this was a pretty good episode. Rarity's attempt to go country was pretty funny, but Applejack pretending to be more like Rarity was the funniest part of the episode.

This is a mistake. This is a BIG mistake, because everything that we see at the ending makes it highly evident that Tenderhoof had learned to like both Applejack AND Rarity after what Applejack and Rarity had both learned. Anybody agree?

 

Maybe I missed something here, but I didn't get that impression at the end - Trenderhoof appeared to just kinda become nobody at the end, to me anyway.  Perhaps I was already too jaded by the personality-swap that dominated the second half of the episode (which I personally found REALLY grating).

Spike's stare at the camera made the episode for me. Twilight's earlier stare had already cracked me up, too.

 

The unappreciated point-out was also fun. Lots of little references and shout outs throughout.

I wasn't able to watch this episode for a week because I was so busy with work (And still am), but I managed to watch it the other day. I was really impressed to say the least.

 

 

 

There was lots of humour, especially when Rarity and AJ switched personalities near the end of the episode. I gotta say... AJ can be really... attractive when she wants to be... Oh Apple Jewel... if only my cwushie dressed up like that...

Meh, didn't really like the episode sure it had it's laughs here and there but towards the end ehhhhh the whole "what is you stepped in the shoes of someone else" was kinda too generic, over all it was My least favorite episode of seaon 4

Poor Spike! Can we all just take a moment for all the guys who had to watch as his crush crushed on another guy and made you feel neglected?

I had a hard time enjoying this episode because a fellow dragon was put in the painful situation where he had to watch Rarity crush on another guy. Though, she did gt a taste of how Spike feels ALL THE TIME. I mean, people wonder why us dragons are so mean, heartless and violent. I wouldnt blame spike if he grew up to be like the other dragons. Hoarding the jewels to fill his empty heart.

Hel has no fury like a Dragon scorned!

The only enjoyable parts of this episode was Applejack being Kawaii! And dont even get me started about all the 'dat plot' jokes and memes that have come up due to this episode.

Both of these pics actually sum up my thoughts pretty well. Yeah, it was funny as hell, but it was also uncomfortable seeing Rarity embarrass herself imo. Applejewel is what made this episode imo

This episode was very enjoyable. I can say without a doubt that it is one of my favorites, right alongside "Rarity Takes Manehatten". Though I'll admit that the Spike neglect bothered me at first, I now applaud him for being so mature and understanding. In fact, the only disappointment was Trenderhoof. Not only was he a complete and total jerk, he wasn't all that good-looking. I think Apple Jewel made up for it, though.

 

Favorite part: Apple Jewel's debut scene

Favorite line: "Now, if y'all will excuse me, I've got more chores to do. ...INSIDE!"

A very nice episode, full of those "eye popping" moments that give MLP:FiM it's zing.

 

It's funny to see how far Rarity will go to win the heart of the Stalion she admires. Reminds me of "Bye Bye Birdie", where everyone learns to control their love and lust, lest it get's ahead of them and shakes everything up.

 

Applejack's "Lustful" closeup was also priceless, Id like to see the rest of the "Mane 6" have such a closeup.

I liked it but...it was kinda boring.

This was a very funny episode, especially Rarity speaking with a different accent, but overall, it was a bit dull. Trenderhoof didn't stand out, and I felt it ended rather suddenly. Not bad, but far from excellent.

Just watched this one and I loved it. AJ's inability to detect Trenderhoof's amorous feelings reminds me so much of myself in that situation (although very rarely does such an occasion arise) as everyone apparently sees it but yourself. Trenderhoof's 'love at first sight' moment looking at AJ was brilliant, glad to see AJ getting the appreciation she deserves from other ponies. Finally, Applejewel was awesome
