This is probably my favorite era of rock music. I'm a fan of progressive rock, especially: Yes, King Crimson, Pink Floyd (even though Roger Waters is a megadouche), Electric Light Orchestra. I'm not all that fond of Rush though. They're more classic rock than progressive rock in my opinion - not weird and zany enough to be progressive haha. I remember when Skyrim first came out, I cranked up Close to the Edge, Fragile, and The Yes Album, and they set a great mood for fantasy.

I love late 60's and 70's rock! This is by far the best era in rock music ever, if you ask me. Even though I was born two decades later, but I just can't help but loving the feelings of 60s/70s rock music... The rawness (in a positive way) created by mostly acoustic instruments aside from the electric guitar/bass is something I particularly like. Along with the experimental fever that went around, expanding rock into many new forms, usage of unusual instruments, and of course, instruments I love (woodwinds and brass).
