Should cloppers be segregated from bronies?

So, why suggest putting them into a seperate fandom? Even if we did that, the half that's considered not the cloppers will still be stereotyped and discriminated. Like I said before, there's nothing we can do about it, and the more we try the worse it'll get. (Not in all cases, but I can see that easily happening in this one in particular)

Either way, it doesn't matter.  The term is out there, and it's gonna be the first line of attack if someone wants to be critical about you liking the colorful horse show, regardless of if you do or not, so who cares?

The average person that would use that as ammo wouldn't care anyway. They're fully aware not every one of is into it, but it's the easiest way to attack us and get a reaction, so they "go for the low hanging fruit" so to speak. As someone who's been/kinda is in both the Sonic and Furry fandom I can verify that accusing you of being a pervert that whacks to it is a common tactic, and is in no way something people only do when attacking bronies 

 

It's no different from accusing all furries of being zoophiles, or all anime fans of being into freaky hentai.

Edit: Look Everypony, This is not my mutual opinion to every brony out there, I myself view everyone as equal. All  I'm trying to say is that jerking off to cartoon ponies should be kept private, and in closed conversation. I dont like the fact that theres a growing rumor going around that all bronies are people who clop

 

 

Hardly any of us do. We have to get used to it, learn to ignore the people that spread the rumours.

Sorry, first of all - no, I am not a clopper. Now, to the point. Yeah, some people find cloppers weird and I can hardly blame them for this, but... what the? Why should they be segragated from bronies?

Because people are ignorant enough to associate entire fandom with them? It's their problem, not ours. I am not going to suddenly change myself "because stereotypes". 

Because it's weird? I find many things weird yet I don't even suggest segregating them.

Because they are worse? Well... in what way are they worse?

Because You don't like them? I don't like vodka, can we segragate it from alcohol!

 

 

Besides even if it was good idea - now it is too late anyway. People won't stop considering bronies "weirdos that clop to colorful joyful ponies" just because we suddenly seperate cloppers from us. It does not work that way. And never would, because mass media made us look that way. They'd say that cloppers are "part of bronies" and outcome would be literally same. Sorry, but Your idea is just bad and there is no way to make it good.

I don't think they should be segregated as long as they don't make a big deal about them being a clopper and posting pony porn all over the place. I have met many nice people on the forums that (probably) have clopped (based on the evidence of the clop survey) and if they were segregated to a different fandom then I wouldn't have even gotten the opportunity to meet them. 

 

I don't understand how people could clop... It doesn't make sense to me, so I tend to avoid the topic because I have seen people get defensive and accusing over this subject.

 

Bottom line, as long as you keep it to your self (as people should anyways, especially on the forums) then there wont be a problem.

*sigh* everyone seems to jump to conclusions when someone posts something like this...instead of seeing it as an attack (and even if it is it should be understood as a respected opinion) understand that it's an idea or maybe it was simply misunderstood.
