Your favorite moment, when Main 6 represented their elements?

So... Your favorite moment, when Main 6 represented their elements :) In which episode they showed what's the best in them in the most convincing way?

Applejack, honesty: In The Super Speedy Cider Squeezy 6000, when Apples lost and she said that they had a deal and even congratulated Flim and Flam, even though it meant that she was going to lost her farm. She was true to her element, because she refused to break the rules and didn't let Rainbow Dash and other citizens of Ponyville be angry at Flim and Flam and convinced them that they won in a fair fight. But it's possible that I change my mind after her key-episode  :)

Fluttershy, kindness: Keep Calm and Flutter On, when she wanted to believe that Discord can change, even when others said that it's impossible. She refused to believe in it and tried to show him how important friendship is. She showed that you can find something good in everybody, you just have to give it a chance.

Rainbow Dash, loyalty: There's no doubt about it, Wonderbolts Academy is episode, in which Rainbow's loyalty truly shined. I just loved the fact, that she was ready to give up on her dreams to her friends. Becoming a Wonderbolt meant a lot for her, but she knew that it wasn't worth it, if it means that she has be reckless and don't care about what is really important.

Pinkie Pie, laughter: It's actually really odd, but for me moments, when we can really see Pinkie's element are when she sings XD I mean, everytime when I listen to Smile Song I can just FEEL how much she wants to make others happy! And it's absolutely beautiful.

Rarity, generosity: Ugh, I'm torn. I just loved how generous she was in Suited for Success, but after Rarity takes Manehattan... She showed more than once, that she could do almost everything for her friends. She could give her own heart and soul for them. She could - just like Rainbow in Wonderbolts Academy - give up on her dreams. She always thinks about her friends and what they want first, and later about herself. She's ready to work hard all day and night, only to make them happy.

Twilight, magic/friendship: I dunno... Probably The Return of Harmony part 2. She refused to believe that Discord is gonna win and did everything in her power to save Equestria and her friends

Applejack: Honesty - The Super Speedy Cider Squeezy 6000, because she was not going to break the rules even when the odds were against her and that takes a lot of guts to admit that.

Fluttershy: Kindness - Keep Calm and Flutter On, because even with the doubt against her she was still able to show Discord something that he didn't want to lose once he had it, her friendship.

Rainbow Dash: Loyalty - Wonderbolt Academy because, Rainbow Dash showed what a Wonderbolt is supposed to have and showed that her friends are worth sacrificing her dreams to protect them.

Pinkie Pie: Laughter - Pinkie Pride, she showed that not only can she throw parties very well but that she is willing to share the spotlight with others.

Rarity: Generosity - Rarity Takes Manehattan, Rarity knew that she made a mistake so she decided to repay them after all the hard work her friends did for her and it showed that it's fine to be generous to people just make sure they don't take advantage of you. Also can't forget: Suited For Success and Sisterhooves Social.

Twilight Sparkle: Magic - The Return of Harmony Part II, with the odds against her from Discord's attempts to break the Mane 6 apart she still found a way to persevere to save her friends. Also, A Canterlot Wedding.

Rarity - Rarity takes Manehattan: For her outstanding performance and repayment towards her friends, as well as earning the trust from the people she generously rewarded!  :D

Fluttershy - Keep Calm and Flutter On: Fluttershy had quite a handful, but I give her major credit for holding it in that long with discord, when he especially noticed the kindness he would loose without her.

Applejack - Applebuck Season: Applejack learned that it's best to rely on her friends and family or anyone in general for help, as rewarding and great it can be to show others you can do stuff for others, it's just as great when the people you know and love help you out because they love you.

Twilight - Friendship is Magic Part 2: As not great as this episode was, one thing many others have forgotten is the true lesson of the series that twilight has understood, friendship is magic.

Rainbow Dash - Wonderbolts academy: Not much to say other than to say that I'm glad she will always be loyal to her friends in the end, as well as choosing what is the right thing to do for her friends.

Pinkie Pie - Friend in need: Anyone who's seen this episode will know why she's great, and it's this very episode that made her shine.

Rarity - Suited For Success/Sisterhooves Social

There are 2 moments that display Rarity's generosity perfectly.

In "Suited For Success," she offers to make all 5 of her best friends dresses for the Grand Galloping Gala. Of course, they get very picky, demanding, and downright rude and insulting sometimes (they were even a bit insensitive when they were standing outside of her door while she was having her breakdown) but, she swallows her headache down and goes forth and continues making their dresses, even though when their outrageous demands are finally met, they look downright horrid.

I remember how bad the secondhand embarrassment was when she walked down the runway after everyone, including a huge name in the industry, insulted her designs she worked so tirelessly on just to please her friends, and she had every right to be angry and upset; she had to please the customer and they ended up causing her grief.

Now, of course, the ultimate display of Rarity's generosity was when she was having her breakdown. It describes it perfectly. She was in the midst of a tantrum, but, of course, she didn't once take it out on her friends, who could easily be blamed for the whole ordeal she was in in the first place. Now, this is a metaphorical display of her generosity, keep in mind, but even though she was having a tantrum, she didn't shove it off on to others and bore the cross they gave to her, albeit in her own over dramatic and diva-esque way; that was selflessness at its finest.

Another excellent example of her generosity that I feel is often overlooked is in Sisterhooves Social; in that episode, Rarity has a huge order to fill, and Sweetie Belle repeatedly, yet very unintentionally, did things to frustrate her while she was working.

While Rarity could've handled the situation better, given she was dealing with a little filly who was still a child while she was full grown, sisters or not, she realized her mistakes and went all out to make it up to her little sister.

Now, siblings bicker and what not all of the time, but rarely ever does one admit defeat and that they may have been wrong. Rarity not only did that, she went out and got her beautiful white coat all muddy and sweaty running that race with her sister in order to try and redeem herself.

That was generous; she hates getting muddy, that's well documented, and often backs away at the sight of it; here, she willingly powers her way through covering herself in the muck she holds in such contempt in order to correct her own mistakes, even though it could be chalked up to siblings bickering and nothing more. Not too many people would do that for their brother/sister after they got into an argument; yet, not too many people are generous on Rarity's level, either :D

Applejack - Super Speedy Cider Squeezy 6000

Didn't cheat, even though her homestead was on the line.

Also, that line at the end is just pure honesty:

"I didn't learn anything! I was right all along!"

It was the truth, and she told it.

Honesty :D

Fluttershy - Keep Calm and Flutter On

She showed a lot of kindness and patience to Discord in one of my favorite episodes in the whole series, by putting up with his snarky attitude and the general chaotic atmosphere he created.

This episode also had one of my favorite moments in the series;

Well played, Fluttershy...well played...

Seriously, that one had the feels for me :D

Twilight Sparkle - A Canterlot Wedding: Part 2

twilight_sparkle_machine_gun_mode_by_kat

Need I say more? :D

Rainbow Dash - Friendship is Magic, Part 2/Wonderbolts Academy

While RD does live up to her element, and that's good, they ALL live up to RD's element.

Seriously, they're all insanely loyal to one another, and other than these two episodes, I don't really recall her loyalty standing out too much from the others -_-

Sorry, RD, still love ya :( Don't think I'm hatin' on ya, now, because that just ain't so, lemme say :D

Pinkie Pie - Pinkie Pride

She cracked me up here more than any other episode with her dynamic with Cheese Sandwich, and that's what laughter is about, right?

Well...

Pinkie showed another dimension to her element here; as soon as she saw RD wasn't having a good time, she wasn't laughing anymore; she mended her mistakes and went right back to making people smile in the end :D

Being the element of laughter isn't about being funny, it's about making the others around you happy, and she showcases that here better than anywhere else :D

Applejack: it is so painfully hard to choose just one for AJ. Technically my favorite is her cutie mark origin story, she went home when she realized she was trying to be somepony she was not. She was true to herself which is honesty in one of its most important forms.

Twilight Sparkle: Hard to say, it is technically magic but it is really friendship because "friendship is magic". I suppose it is Return of Harmony Part 2 when she got her second win and realize that she shouldn't give up.

Rainbow Dash: Rainbow Dash was willing to risk her dream of becoming a Wonderbolt to do the right thing and call out Lightning Dust, there are many things and people or ponies in this case to be loyal to but principle is one of the most important.

Pinkie Pie: I can seem to decide between Pinkie Pride and Pinkie Apple Pie they are both awesome and one of them even had AJ as her costar.

Rarity: Suited for success she offered to custom make dresses for all of her friends for free and went to extreme lengths to give them what they want.

Fluttershy: Keep Calm And Flutter on in large part because Discord is awesome, but seriously though it seemed like she was being a pushover but she seemed to know exactly what buttons to push.

Twilight Sparkle: Magic Duel. I think of this episode as being the most quintessential Twilight episode. The entire thing was centered around magic and I love how Twilight was able to fool Trixie by using her friends to help put together some fake magic tricks. In my opinion, Twilight's "magic" power is fueled by her friendships and teamwork and there's no better episode that demonstrates this.

Pinkie Pie: Pinkie Pride. Pinkie Pie is the ultimate party planner in all of Equestria, and the fact that friendly rival Cheese Sandwich was inspired to become a party planner through Pinkie Pie is all the proof of this that's needed. The mere fact that this episode brought me so much joy and is my new favorite Pinkie episode is a testament to its being the best representation of laughter.

Rainbow Dash: Wonderbolts Academy. This is a no-brainer. Rainbow Dash was willing to sacrifice her dream of becoming a Wonderbolt because she didn't want to be part of a team that not only condoned but rewarded reckless behavior and poor teamwork. Once the safety of her friends was put in jeopardy, she knew she had to quit.

Fluttershy: Keep Calm and Flutter On. When no other pony was willing to give Discord a chance at redemption, Fluttershy proved that her patient and understanding nature is her greatest strength. She did everything in her power to ensure that Discord was comfortable and happy which resulted in Discord's willingness to use his magic for good, proving that a little kindness goes a long way.

Rarity: Rarity Takes Manehattan. I give this episode a slight edge over Suited For Success simply because Rarity's generosity was all over the place. Everything from lending Suri some fabric, buying Spike a carrot dog, helping Coco get a job, making sure her friends got to see the play, and every nice gesture she made during her Generosity song all adds up to an episode chock full of charitable acts by Rarity.

Applejack: The Super Speedy Cider Squeezy 6000. This episode gets a lot of flak for various reasons but it remains the very best Applejack episode in terms demonstrating her honesty. As already mentioned, Applejack wanted to compete against the Flim Flam Brothers as honestly as possible. Even though they were speeding up the process by skipping their quality control, Applejack refused to retaliate by cheating all the same even when Rainbow Dash was ready to do so. Her letter to the Princess was a good example of some brutal honesty, and nearly all of her dialogue throughout the episode was laced with sincerity.

Applejack - My favorite honesty moment from Applejack was actually in MMMystery on the Friendship Express. She was the only one who didn't eat and of the cake and didn't lie about it. A lot of people say her best moment was in the Super Speedy Cider Squeezy 6000, but I saw that more of a display of sportsmanship than "honesty".

Fluttershy - Keep Calm and Flutter On was where she showed kindness to Discord when everyone else hated him as she saw the will to do good buried deep inside of him.

Rainbow Dash - Rainbow Falls shows Dash's loyalty the most. She stayed true to Ponyville, turning down a chance to team with her life long idols, the Wonderbolts. Wonderbolts Academy is a close second.

Rarity - Rarity Takes Manhattan displays Rarity's generosity to it's highest extent that it's ever been.

Twilight Sparkle - Twilight's magic comes full circle in Magical Mystery Cure. It elevates her to princesshood.

Pinkie Pie - Hands down I would have to say Pinkie Pride. Everything about Pinkie Pie in this episode is hilariously awesome.
