Just a little friendly critique on you guys. You seem to be waiting for others to come to you. That usually never works. Try to take the initiative and walk up to someone else, or at least try something else than getting their attention by doing something stupid (like lying down on the middle of a beach). For instance, Ampharos, if you want to rest perhaps it is a good idea to start a fire at the clearing to sleep around, or maybe you could make yourself a proper place to sleep. Make a freaking hammock out of leaves, how cool is that! Ragestar, your character is a flankchaser? WELL CHASE YOURSELF SOME FLANKS THEN! Go 'accidently' find the clearing and find two beautiful mares waiting for someone to woo them. Chaotic, you want to survive for yourself, but at the same time you'd be incredibly bored if you were all alone all the time. Try to soscialize with the ponies even though you are going to survive on your own. Annoy them if you like! Just make sure that your character wont be bored for the coming weeks. Lonliness is something that everyone hates and wants to avoid!

 

As I said, just some ideas to hopefully inspire you guys, as you seem to be waiting for someone else to take the lead. Perhaps I am wrong and you have some kind of greater plan schemed, but nevertheless, try to take the initative, that's what keeps these roleplays interesting!

 

@EquestrianScholar, perhaps this counts for you as well, though you have only just joined and couldn't really take initiative on anything, but if things seem lost for you just simply walk to the clearing. This is something I want to suggest to everyone actually. If you don't have anything to do, just go to the clearing... At sunset we are all going to sleep there anyway...

I totally would do that! If it was in character for Dawnblink to do that. Blink has like no survival skills at all, he's just really calm in bad situations. Plus he was super exhausted, so he just sort of collapsed. Trust me, after at least half of this first day, he'll be up and ready to mingle

I can't have zain just go up and try to talk to the others, it's out of character for him. That's why I just had him get close and catch their attention. But now that he has I guess he can be annoying

Okay, anyone who wants to get attention from nearby ponies, take time to find out who exactly is in that area, and MENTION them. People don't usually read a post unless it mentions them. I wont know someone is trying to talk to me unless its mentioned that i'm part of their post.

Once Nassir gets this brew done, he'll probrably make rounds checking to make sure no one is injured, so if you want to have an interaction with him, that would be the first available chance since, as a loner, your character probrably won't be heading to the clearing anytime soon.
