Oh, of course that's what its name would be. Hell, the only reason I want a shiny Charmander is so that I can name is that! It'd be freaking awesome!

Hehehe... I was Masuda methoding a shiny charmander and got one within the first 10 eggs! No joke! I must have been REALLY lucky
