Everyone knows that Action/Adventure is an increasingly popular category in gaming.

There are many titles that are worth playing, and some are downright abominations.

What are your favorites?

Mine are

Uncharted 3, The Last of Us, Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag, and Dead Space 3.

Second Son looks so bitchin'. Infamous easily has my favorite platforming/climbing mechanics ever.

Probably gonna have to say Headhunter. So much awesome. <3

Not the sequel though. The sequel doesn't do the first game justice in the slightest.

The Last of Us is one of my all time favorites and I loved inFamous! I can't wait for Second Son!

"There are a million ways we should’ve died before today… and a million ways we can die before tomorrow… but we fight for every second we get to spend with each other. Whether its two minutes or two days, we don’t give that up. I don’t want to give that up."

The Last of Us, The Legend of Zelda games, and Prinny 2: Dawn of Operation Panties, Dood!

I know that last game sounds pretty suspect, but's a really good platforming, side-scrolling, action game that gets pretty hard at the end  (that final boss is a nightmare) and has plenty of replay value with the way the stages change over time and the amount collectibles out there to be discovered as well as an additional mode to play through. The game actually gives you 999 lives at the very start, and you don't get any more lives during the course of the game; that sounds like a heck of a lot of lives, but you can eat through them pretty quickly, I think I beat the game sitting at around 400ish lives. The bosses are challenging and quirky. For the really hardcore, hell mode is just crazy: though dying in one hit opposed to 3 may not sound like a huge, huge deal, it definitely is.
