Screaming? Anyone into Metalcore?

I was wondering if anyone is into this genre or other derivatives of the genre. Like Asking Alexandria or Bring Me The Horizon. Also Deathcore like Suicide Silence or All Shall Perish, to name a few. Feel free to post your other bands of genres that include a scream or two. (Death Metal is awesome too.)

I don't really listen to Metalcore/Death Metal but I like Symphonic Metal. My favorite band is Nightwish and most of their songs don't usually have screams but their song Master Passion Greed is entirely screams.

Its alright, I do like my metal too. How about Folk Metal? Not too screamy I believe.(IDK) Pretty good though.

The majority of metal I listen to ends up being a lot of melodeath, death and viking/folk metal, however I absolutely loved the whole "The Cleansing" album by Suicide Silence.

 

Another band of a similar genre (whom I prefer actually) is called Born of Osiris, you should check them out :D

Not really my thing. While I understand there is meaning behind most of the lyrics in the songs by most Screamo/Metalcore musicians, to me the guttural screaming and everything, well it sounds like a very bad traffic accident, and I cannot understand a single word the vocalist is saying. I do like a band that does sometimes use screaming though, Darkseed.

 

So, while it is for some people, and that is fine with me, it is as I said above, not my sort of thing,

My favorite song from The Cleansing album is In A Photograph. Awesome song. I love Viking Metal too! Wintersun has good songs.

I like some metalcore, but I don't like AA or BMTH.

I like Trivium too, my favorite would have to be Rain.

Also, just thought of something, maybe this question is better asked in Crispy's metal thread? just a thought though

Yeah, I kind of did but wanted see if anyone was interested in more of this genre. I like metal too. ;)

Aaah, fair enough then hun, just didn't want to see a thread got locked simply because of a simple misunderstanding.
