Do You Think the Show is Getting Better or Worst for Season 4?

The show mad a good start with the princesses going missing and Twilight having to see whats going on, but the show went worst from there like "Daring Don't" and "Power Ponies." But got better at "Pinkie Pride" and others! But then went down hill again in my mind for "Twilight Time" and "It Ain't Easy Being Breezies"

So guys i need your opiouns on this! Tell me if you think their getting better or worst!

Downhill with ones like Rainbow Falls, but uphill with ones like Pinkie Pride.

Currently, the show is right in the middle because so far with all of the episodes that have been released it's really hard to tell whether the season is good or not depending on how you feel about the show right now.

This season, at least, from my perspective, has produced two of the biggest stinkers in the whole series in Rainbow Falls and Flight to the Finish.

 

BUT...

 

Season 1, my personal favorite season, produced Sonic Rainboom and the Cutie Mark Chronicles, two of my worst episodes as well.

 

That being said, I have found a lot of enjoyment and not really any dislike in this season so far past the two episodes I listed, and I feel the same way about S1; currently, the only way S4 can drop out of the contest for best season is if it produces another episode that makes me cringe, but hey, it'll never be on par with S3 in terms of how much I dislike it (I liked 2 out of 13 episodes. LIKED.)

 

So, compared to it's predecessor, I must say S4 has blown S3 out of the water and has had a sharp increase in quality. 

 

So, for now, I'll give it a "better" because I've found enjoyment in episodes that I fell neutral on, like "Somepony to Watch Over Me" and "Twilight Time," and have liked all but 2 episodes

To be honest I think the quality of the seasons has been pretty consistent so far. I just hope that it doesn't start going downhill in future seasons

I’d have to say neither to the choices of better or worse, I think currently it’s good as ever, that’s all I can really think to say: like there’s been the odd episode that sucked such as Breezies, but then the majority of the others so far has been top notch and I’ve enjoyed myself.

I agree the breezie episode freaked me out with the mane 6 turning into breezies :/ WHY L.F?! WHYY?!

As bvoring as Season 4 has been since the premier, it is still an improvement to the character exaggerations and ooc in season 3.

I'd say Season 4 has been the most inconsistent to date, with higher highs and lower lows than any other season. It's produced both my favorite (Pinkie Apple Pie) and least favorite (Simple Ways) episode. But as a whole, it's far superior to Season 3, and I'd rank it (slightly) above Season 1 as well. Considering how quickly most shows go downhill after 50 episodes or so, I really can't complain.

I see no problem with Season 4, tbh.  I just felt there were two episodes that were just plain stupid.  Im hoping for more Rainbow Dash episodes, featuring more on the Wonderbolts.

It's easily been my favorite season so far. Even the weaker episodes have done little to stop my full enjoyment.

 

Season 1 - 8/10

Season 2 - 9/10

Season 3 - 7/10

Season 4 - 8/10 (So Far...)

Personally, I don't believe the show is getting better or worse, season 4-wise. This season has had terrible episodes such as It Ain't Easy Being Breezies and Rainbow Falls, while also having fun episodes like Pinkie Pride (my favorite episode of the entire show), Bats!, and Rarity Takes Manehatten, among others. It's probably my favorite season so far.

I really ain't all that judgmental towards qualities of a certain episode, writers work hard to bring me my weekly dosage of ponies with new experiences and that's perfectly fine for me.

It definitely ain't getting better, but it definitely ain't getting worst either. It's way too inconsistent to really label it as bad or good. For every "Pinkie Pride" or "Pinkie Apple Pie" we get, there's a "Rainbow Falls" or "Breezies" waiting in the wings. We shall see how this last stretch of episodes plays out.

 

That said, I can easily say this has been my least favorite season unless they can redeem any misfires soon.

It's been good. I swear there's people setting up doomsday camps somewhere with big banners in red letters saying "Fandom ending. Be prepared for the final moments here." All wearing robes and the like, handing out pamphlets asking "Where will YOU be when the end comes?". I just pray the ATF can handle them. I don't want another Waco.

So far this is my number 3 on how I rank the seasons ( I rank them: 1,2,4,3 going best to worst ), but it's really hard to make the call at this point because there is the matter of whats in the box; which, depending on what it is, could be the point where we will either say "Yeah, season 4 really gives the series the momentum to go for at least two more seasons!" or "I think season 5 will be the last one". But I do have to say this season does have some of the best episodes we've had since season 2 and does seem to be showing some potential for future episodes. E.G. The events of the Equestria Games could be a major event, like reveiling a new villian ( which has been my feeling since "Flight to the Finish"), which would be great for the show.

Personally, I think it's been a little boring, but every season has its ups and downs. Season four has had some of my favourite episodes in the entire series, but there have also been some episodes where I had to force myself to sit through and watch it. It's no better or worse to me, but I think that there's been an increase in quality in the animation.

The quality has been consistent. I have loved it, there are few strange episodes but that's just how it is. So it's neither, it's good and has been consistent.

I think it's getting better, and better with each episode.Season 4 has been pretty awesome so far. It may have started off slow, but it certainly picked up the pace.
