So, I've started a youtube channel for pony skits (Short little jokes)

But they only get about 10-20 views (from a 3 day waiting period) :(

I want them to reach a larger audience without spending $$$$

any help/tips?

May the force be with you, always

Keep doing videos. Fame almost never comes instantly, ESPECIALLY without some sponsored help.

If you continuously come up with new videos you'll keep the minute audience that you do have and it will also improve your skills which will inevitably increase exposure.

It will take time. Do what you can to keep going, improve on what you have even if you think you're pretty darn good at it.

And don't worry about view counts. That's a number one no-no. The more you want fame, the less it's gonna come to you. Just do your videos and have fun. Advertise your channel via forum sigs and relevant discussions. Your goal is not popularity, views or subscribers, it's improving your own works for the sake of having done it.

Also, professionalism is gonna go a long way. Keeping things succinct is important. Don't dilly-dally. Once you get a slightly bigger audience consider making an intro for your videos that represents what they are about.

Usually it works especially with me, if you have decently popular friends. My friend has like 60 subs and I've gotten 13 subs without a single video!

You can lead a horse to water but you can't make it save equistria with its five candy coloured friends and shoot rainbows at bad guys using their necklaces and tiara unless you're celestia
Also if your not familiar with the count to one million post then check out our welcoming cheer!

Hi @TheChosenPony, I have moved your topic from General Discussion to Media Discussion. Topics about Youtube fit best in this section, and should be affixed with a Technology prefix.

Exactly this

OT: I have the same problem, yet like Discordian said, keep adding videos.  Sponsorship on the other hand......I for one am not to crazy about them b/c of Copyright bullshit that you may or may not have.  If you wish to have a sponsor, i recommend going through your videos seeing if you have an copyrighted content, and make sure you note on the video that the copyrighted content doesn't belong to you.
