@, @@Grapz224, Why do both of you assume Artemis has a criminal record and have labeled her a criminal? You just read her bio and assumed because she's not exactly fond of laws that she is like that? Also i did say she got in a fight that escalated but i never mentioned that she did anything criminal-like, or even said those things out loud. Your characters have no right to know what she did except if they were into the case or got their hooves upon it which both are doubtful but i am willing to consider it. Also... nothing has been consolidated on her record so that you may call her a criminal for... If i see one more person knowing more stuff out of the blue for my characters other than the fact that she's a ranger pegasus with a wolf companion more suspicious than a normal wolf i'm going to ask you to edit your posts. So either explain yourselves or edit them. She never actually said herself that she's a criminal just that she was forced to come here. It is supposed to be a secrete and if you guys feel comfortable being out of character and exposing them then you're no fun at all.

I am mostly talking to you Grapz. You abruptly revealed all this... and no just because you're a guard doesn't mean you get to look at every criminal's files. Unless you put yourself as that inspector in the story((which is out of hands for me)), or unless your character has the files of everyone on the team... which i assume they don't since they ask names and stuff. And no rangers don't find it funny to break laws... in fact some rangers enforce laws even more heavily than others.

Well, in her bio, you explained her as a sort of "Rouge-type" character. I assumed that she may/may not have a criminal record. I never went and say, arrested her. I just thought that "Rangers" as you call them, would be famous for being criminals. as a guard, soul wouldn't have a good outlook on rangers. I never listed any crimes or anything. I just said what I would think a guard would have said to a ranger.

The only ranger being famous for being a criminal is Robin Hood. Rangers are keepers and overlook nature. They are like "forest guardians". Also... tell me how does her bio explain how your character knew about it?

The first definition is the closest thing to what Artemis is. Your guard is in the wrong chasing one... in fact they would co-operate under normal circumstances. Please read what a ranger is before assuming things.

I thought the type of Ranger you were describing was one based on the "Rangers Apprentice" Books, where Rangers are Cunning, deceiving, Live as Hermits, not much is known about them to the public, basically a thief type. In the books, the "Rangers" Often break laws to get something done their way.

At least that's what i think... if he can speak, think, and act consciously then he is considered "awakened". I'm sitting here, wondering why Soul wouldn't be seen as the leader of the group. He is one of the only fighters, but I guess without his armour he'd look like a common pony.

In a nutshell, Soul Survivor is a retired Royal Guard, (based on the other ages of the group) around 28-33 years old. He enjoys small things, and is generally very nice to others, but is skillful in a fight, due to his Training. He is dark blue, with a brown and black mane. He also was injured in a war he fought in while he was a guard, so he has a bitten ear and a broken horn. His cutie mark is the outline of 3 ponies.

1. Fight. Bad, bad bad idea. Lightning and Malinter could in all likelihood crush the team, especially since, don't forget, they can call on the rest of their tribe.

 

2. Reason. Again, bad idea. These ferals don't listen to reason, they're hostile to strangers.

Probably the best idea... tho not everypony might escape. Some could be taken prisoner, others could end up going the wrong way and getting lost. The team doesn't have to remain together! If they end up separated, they'll want to find each other again.

I think that Soul would not get captured. He is the fighter, so he would try to herd (no pun intended) everypony away while fighting the Ferals off. He would either sacrifice himself, or go back and try to get the capture ponies out.

 

oh, and @@Pripyat Pony, I like the Monty Hall video. You get a hoof-up for that.
