Let's see, that depends on which of my characters are next to me.

 

Nano: Even though he's a robot pony, he tends to be a sweetheart. I'd want to squee and snuggle him awake, and then he'd probably be confused and want to know what's going on - but in a curious kind of way, like a child asking about this and that. Things like "Why are you hugging me?" or even more simply "Uh, what are you?"

 

Galatea: I'd wait to let her wake up on her own. She, too, would likely be confused, but she'd be more curious in the scientific sense. She'd probably ask more about humans and Earth, possibly the differences between Earth and Equestria. Maybe she wouldn't like what she heard, but I'd tell her anyway.

 

Ariel: Eh... I would likely just try to climb out of bed and leave as quietly as possible, making sure not to come back until she's awake. Given her, um, "nervous" nature, she'd be far too likely to freak out. I'd come in and try to explain things as calmly as possible, but even I'm not sure what she would do then.

Anaphora (FoE) : She's one of those civilized and charismatic slavers of the wastes, so I would try to sneak away if possible before she tries to talk me into something and put a slave collar on. Alternatively, she might be confused, and since she isn't the approaching type, might run off. 

 

Baryon (FoE): A more frightened but intellectual stallion and pegasus, he might get scared at first, faint temporarily, then wake up and studying everything in sight.

 

Secant: A mathematician and technical pony at heart, he might be the same as Baryon, albeit being far more interested than shocked due to his "mad scientist" behavior. 

 

Synapse: Similar to Secant, she might go on in her own world and barrage me with a mountain of questions and question my psychological nature.

 

Inkblot: Might become a bit erratic with his subtle split personality, then get off when he realizes he is sleeping with a male. 

 

Fuselage: Instantly get excited and forget that she'll have problems returning to Equestria and get into some trouble running off the streets.

Asterisk Propernoun, the pony in my profile picture, is my pony-sona. So let's see how this will happen. For the sake of minimizing my digital footprint, I'm just going to call myself 'John Doe'.

 

John, on the first day of Spring break, while in his loft bed, had just started to wake up. He was only semi-conscious; unwilling to move, unwilling to open his eyes, unwilling t-

 

Wait, did John just feel a warm breath hit his face?

 

John opened his eyes, saw a white coated, ink-black maned horse with abnormally big, shut eyes sleeping right beside him. John Doe, in his semi-conscious state, realized that this wasn't a normal part of reality, and checked to see if he was dreaming by using reality check techniques he learned from back when he used to lucid dream. He tried counting his fingers, trying to push his finger through his hand, pinching his nose to see if he could still breathe, and even tried closing his eyes to see if he could change the scenery around him. Nothing worked. John was wide awake; and there was a pony, a fictional pony-sona he created himself (but was drawn by Artsy) that was inspired to be in the show My Little Pony, in his bed.

 

John, now fully understanding the gravity of the situation, resisted the urge to fall out of the loft bed in surprise (he would've broken his back on the twenty-nine inch mountain bike below him if he didn't). "Wow, just wow." John thought to himself. "What am I going to do about this?" he then asked as he started to brainstorm a course-of-action.

 

First off, John decided to get out of bed, get dressed, wake up his pony-sona named Asterisk Propernoun, and tell him a lie, saying that John was in bed alone, had his usual morning, turned around, and found the pony lying in his bed. John figured that this would be best to avoid awkward situations so a productive decision can be reached faster. John executed this course of action; and, when he woke up Asterisk, the following began:

 

Asterisk Propernoun woke up to the sound of his own voice telling him to wake up. Except, the voice wasn't coming from him. It was coming from what looked like... a human! Asterisk was fully awake in a heartbeat, and began to perform the exact same reality checks that John performed when he first saw Asterisk. Finally, when the pony decided that he was in reality, he asked "Who are you? Am I still in Equestria? If so, what is a human doing here!?" "You're not in Equestria." John said. "Oh, so I went through the magical mirror in the castle of the Crystal Empire? I've read about this place before." "Um, no, I don't think you're in that world either." John denied after some thought. "The humans in that world are every colour of the rainbow. We don't have anything like that in this world." "Well then, where am I exactly and why?" Asterisk then asked.

 

John told Asterisk about the My Little Pony franchise, Equestria Girls, how he was a pony-sona of John, and even got online to show Asterisk a painting of himself along with a visit to Youtube so John could show Asterisk a few episodes. Asterisk then educated John by telling him that the official show and movie was, as far as his knowledge went, accurate; and that Asterisk knows nothing of the fan-made content such as Dr. Whooves and Lyra, and that it was likely nonexistant in Equestria. The two bounced a few more questions off of each other before coming to another, more main course-of-action.

 

John was going to go have Asterisk studied. John and Asterisk both knew that there where ethical concerns in science, and that most of the wrongful things that doesn't involve mistaken or fraudulent science are usually done by corporations or governments that sees an opportunity for profit. Seeing this risk, John and Asterisk have formulated a plan to create layers of protections that would prevent Asterisk from being done wrong:

 

1. Before allowing the government to take notice of what's going on, spam the story across the media; across every news channel, newspaper, tabloid, and Internet article available. The government cannot do anything underhanded with so many eyes on them.

 

2. Have Asterisk explain as often as possible that he came from a land known as Equestria that is weak in technology but powerful in magic and had many allies, and that the wrongdoing of him would likely spark an international (multiversal?) incident.

 

3. If all else fails, Asterisk knows a thing or two about magic. Make a force field, and begin negotiations from there.

 

Overall, we would get the world involved in trying to learn about Asterisk, the world he came from, and have a few good intellectual conversations along the way.

At first, I will feel awkward (We both male). Then I would picture him sleeping, gently wake him up and suddenly watch him disappear in front of my face.

 

When he will reappear again, we would have a casual talk, ask him how he got here, and be BFFs forever.

 

But that applies for my Ponysona. For my other OCs is another story.

Considering my OC is my Pony Alter Ego, I've a funny answer for that. No matter which world we'd wake up in, Real World or Equestria, we would both speak in unison at first. "What are you doing here?" "Me?" "Yes, You!" "Stop That!" 

 

We do break our unison voice temporarily and come to the idea of fooling our friends in the world we ended up in into believing we're in two places at once! Of course, we would eventually find some way to send each other back to our original worlds.
