I think it wouldn't be much different from the normal pony series. We would see the mane six and the other characters in their jobs and later reuniting to spend some time together, just like how we already see in regular MLP. I believe that's why they choose to make the character to be teenagers and the stories to take place in a school, to make it feel different enough from regular MLP. But that is just a guess ~☆
