You and me both. It helps with reasoning skills to hear yourself talk about your reasons for doing things. Sometimes you can catch your faulty logic.

Totally, especially when I play online pokemon battles. I even try to foreshadow, and even if I lose, I review the entire scene in my head, seeing where I messed up.

I yell out loud all game long, it's part of me having fun. Yes, I rage, but I always stay polite and nice through any in-game chat. If I stop having fun, I simply leave, because the entire point of playing games is to have fun.

I voted for "kinda", haha. ^^; If the game is making me get too frustrated after multiple times of trying to beat one thing, I may turn it off, but rarely as I usually like to follow through and keep trying. XD

No, I'm not. People often forget the purpose of a game is to have fun. If it gets to the point where I'm not having fun anymore, I'll just turn it off. Even if I didn't, I wouldn't rage anyway, it's not that big of a deal to me.

If you don't believe me, I made it through The Hallway of Death in Black Ops on veteran without ever raging, so I'm not just blowing smoke. :P

I believe everyone has a little 'rager' inside of them. It's not always to a high extent, and some people are more vocal than others. But nobody likes losing, and even less so, nobody likes losing over and over and over again. Some people just have better control over expressing frustration than others.

Although, rather than saying that, I suppose it's better to say that people have different ways of dealing with frustration. Some yell profanities until their throat gives out. Others just clench their teeth until their jaw decides to lock up. Some people simply quit, prior to the rage. Rather than continue getting frustrated, they put down the controller and try again later.
People do rage. Just not always in an obvious manner.

For me, it's a little of everything, depending on my mood. Less so the yelling(but without a doubt the profanities), but I certainly rage on the inside.

Hmm, let me just ask my walls, bed, controllers, and computer if Im a rager or not. x)

Wait...they're kinda broken...they cant answer shit....

Fuck.

Though, i will say that a good chunk of my rage is usually comedic. If I can make myself laugh or someone else laugh, then I usually calm down a bit. However, I have my moments when just nothing calms me down and Everything near me is in total danger. Even more so if ive something in my hands at the time.

All the time. Mostly in CS:GO. I don't play CS a lot, but the hitboxes in this game are so awful it makes me crazy.

I don't rage that much when playing with a friend though.

I'd like to argue one point: Games are for fun, yes, but that's not necessarily the only reason. Video games are an experience. This applies to story-heavy games as well as all-gameplay games.

So playing through a rage so you can experience more of the game is pretty legit, imo. ;)

The only level I've raged at was a racing level in an old game from like.. 2001. Note, that level - it's pretty difficult.

I am actually a very calm and collected person, especially when gaming. I find getting frustrated while playing loses someone more games than anything else. Period. I main support in League of Legends, I find I carry the team by keeping them level headed and not fight just as much as shutting down enemies and saving allies.

Yeah I rage a lot in games especially in RPG's and FPS's like for example when a giant launches me into the air in skyrim or when someone keeps spawn killing me in halo reach and then there's the always infamous game freezing right when your getting ready to kill a powerful enemy like a legendary dragon in skyrim or the legendary bloat fly in fallout new Vegas so in other words yes I am a rager.

I am the least salty gamer in my circle of friends.

Whenever I get killed in BF4, I compliment the other player, though they usually end up taking it as me being sarcastic.

If I'm playing Battlefield 4, and I die repeatedly over, and over again I may rage quit. I don't being killed 12 seconds after spawning, over and over again.

When I rage quit, I usually just curse under my breath and turn the game off. I don't get all that angry, really.

I usually don't rage often, only in Battlefield, Halo, and platformers like Battle Block Theater. Its usually when I die over and over again. What ticks me off is when im playing rush on Battlefield and all of my squad mates are sniping in the back, seriously PTFO. Other than those circumstances im pretty chill, the most I ever raged was in the second to last encore level in Battle Block Theater, lets just say I cursed and hit things alot.
