Who is the smartest character in Marvel. It's hard to give a real answer. But it's fun since all the characters are intelligent in their own way. But who do you think is the smartest?

I'd have to say that most likely, Mr. Fantastic is.....much as it sickens me to say it.  As you can no doubt tell, I can't stand him, lol.

Though you're right, it's hard to choose, since there are so many genius level intellects in the Marvel Universe.  Dr. Doom, Mr Fantastic, Tony Stark, Hank Pym, I'm pretty sure Peter Parker has above level intelligence, Dr Octopus, and who knows how many others I'm not thinking of, lol.

Victor Von Doom. If at first your science doesn't succeed, USE MAGIC. He's seriously the only Marvel "genius" that applies both schools. Reed Richards, Tony Stark and friends are all solely scientists. Even "Doctor" Strange doesn't really have anything up his sleeve but more magic.

Long Live Latveria. Long Live Doom.

I would like to think Peter Parker is one of the more emotionally intelligent Marvel characters, seeing as he learned from Uncle Ben's death...and Doctor Octopus' Wife's death...etc. Might just be me, though.

Peter Parker is very genre savvy in addition to being brainy. Street-smarts is definitely a good thing to have if you're a superhero.

Tony Stark is probably my go-to example of a creative and technical genius - though he can be extremely gullible. And not very good at regulating his emotions or vices.

Why is there no Loki option? The Kieron Gillen portrayal of Kid Loki during his Journey Into Mystery run was amazing, that kid had aces hidden inside aces. He took deception, manipulation and genre-savvy to it's logical extreme and then some. He eventually wound up tricked by his own former self, but it's almost poetic. It the end, the only one to outwit Loki was Loki.

@@TheMarkz0ne, since the Debate Pit is for issues pertaining to life and existence that could be considered controversial in nature to some degree. Something pertaining to the Marvel universe belongs in Media Discussion, and so it's been moved there.

Hmm... I think it can be narrowed down to a list of:

Reed Richards

Dr. Doom

Tony Stark

Bruce Banner

Hank Pym

Amadeus Cho

Between those, I'd say it's probably Richards or Doom.

Whoa.....this is really hard to pick, but I put Tony Stark b/c of his inventions.

BTW, I was going to say Watcher but he's an Extra-Terrestrial Being so no.
