I said I was into rap and hip hop before, but can a man not have more than one favorite genre of music?

Well I happen to like quite a few hard rock songs.

I'm sure you all are familiar with this song by the Twisted Sister.

I prefer at times very loud music.

I'm not one to enjoy mellow, calm, and classical music.

Well sometimes when I'm sitting down with my coffee I may put something on like that, but most of the time I prefer different music.

So does anyone else enjoy hard rock?

I'm typically more into metal than anything but hard rock satisfies the soul when required. Some metal is very similar to hard rock, particularly power metal.

One of my favorite bands, Disturbed, is often debated about whether it's hard rock or metal. If anything I think they blur the line between the two. They're just too heavy to not be metal on some level.

I listened to a good deal of it back in middle and high school.  Partly, I think, because I was quite literally laughed at for sharing my interest in video game music.  But some good came of it, because I genuinely enjoyed some of what I heard.  I especially loved Led Zep and Ozzy Osbourne.  Nowadays, for the most part, I mostly enjoy J.S. Bach (baroque era stuff), instrumental jazz, and video game music.  But I NEVER stopped liking Led Zep, and I still have some affection for the Ozzman.  Also, Freddie Mercury has one of the most amazing voices in the history of forever.

Yeah they're definitely one of those bands that blur the line between hard rock and metal. Really great band tho.
