What's the Best Pairing?

The best platonic pairing has been seen on the show.

If I were to expect and real shipping that would work on the show ... Cheese and Pinkie, Cherilee and Big Mac, and Rarity and Fancy Pants make the most sense to me.

I personally don't ship the ponies amongst themselves a lot, though I suppose if I had to, I would say "FlutterDash", only because I actually feel like that is the most likely pairing amongst the ponies to either happen in the show, or be the most likely to exist off-screen in the show's universe and canon. The long-standing relationship between the two, the constant persistence for them to help each other, and the whole idea of 'opposites attract' is quite beautifully represented between those two.

But outside of solely pony shipping, I have to say that I am a firm and strong supporter of the "Sparity" pairing. It was essentially over-exposure to their relationship in the first few random episodes I saw that initially got me into the show to begin with. Of course much debate has gone around regarding the probability of their relationship ever becoming truly intimate within the show given the age differences, but honestly, the actual age of both characters has always been ambiguous, and it's actually because of age that I find Spike so interesting. The writers refer to him as a kid, yet he displays some of the most mature attitudes in the show when he is playing the advisor role. 

Regardless I find a lot to love about sparity, and I cherish every interaction we see between those two. Seeing as alicorn Twilight is an indication of just how much permanent change is possible in the show, I'm never going to rule out the possibility that the two would get together in the show. But even if they don't develop their relationship fully, the state they are at now in episodes like "Inspiration Manifestation" is still cute enough for me to enjoy

I'd say....FlutterPie. They don't have the same behavior at all, which can lead to some interesting ideas of episode.

Fluttercord. They have great chemistry imo and I legit teared up during Discord and Fluttershy 's exchange when Tirek was making his offer to Twilight. Although I can also see Discord as a father figure to Fluttershy or perhaps a brother. They just have something about them that makes them so interesting when they're together
