Well, there is the amazing, mind-screwing and extremely sad ending to MGS3. Spoilers Beware!!! The guy to the right of Zero is actually the Darpa chief from MGS1 and the girl to the left of him is Dr.Clark who worked on Gray Fox.

The ending to Sega Rally on the Saturn though, is one of my favourites, you've got awesome music playing and you just feel triumphant. As a replay of your lakeside run plays after an amazing podium sequence.

There's not much other endings I know of. But I know that Arcade Game endings can be very awesome.

 

It may not have had the best acting in the series but the ending was still brilliant.

None come to mind actually. Probably Xcom Enemy Within, the final boss was a little anticlimactic, seeing how you can just ignore the other Etherials and Muton Elites and just kill him to win. But it was just so satisfying defeating them for the first time.

Best ending to a video game for me, has to be Dust: An Elysian Tail. It had me crying for quite some time.

The endings to both of my favorite video games: Drawn to Life and Drawn to Life the Next Chapter (2 criminally under looked video games) Both of them have really good ending credit music that showcases the emotions going on at the end of the narrative quite well.

I would personally choose the ending to the second game as it is really intense and makes sense as it was foreshadowed throughout the second game and maybe a tiny bit in the first and it makes you question everything that every happened in the entire short-lived franchise and is really emotionally powerful and surprising.

A few months ago I finally got all four endings in Nier and I'm glad I did. That's definitely a game I'd say is worth replaying a few times to get all the endings.
