Couldn't think of a good way to format my last post, so to sum up if anyone is confused:

 

Red and Scribe switched places - since Red is better suited to explaining things to Terra and Scribe is (he is hoping) better suited to 'not being aggressive and upsetting folks'.

Redwave is a cocky, arrogant and skilful sailor: he tried piracy, realised that he wasn't cruel enough and resigned to 'exploring' instead. He tends to be more jaded in recent years, but deep down he's still the same smug bastard he always was. He's very good at what he does, but has the ego to go with it and is far too proud for his own good.

 

Is particularly hard to kill - has suffered several near-death experiences.

 

He's worked with the guard on one or two occasions in the past but insists that its simple mercenary work, and that they don't pay enough for it to be a regular occurrence. Talks in a peculiar fashion.

Scribe is Redwaves cousin: an 'adventurer' completely by accident. He's awkward, not too bright and considerably less talented, but is good natured and tends to be lucky when it comes to avoiding any real harm. Tends to take the 'brute force' solution to most situations.

 

Survives mostly by luck and determination: has a big appetite.

 

He's not really had any dealings with the guard. Hates being a Unicorn in an Earth Pony family. A natural leader, but hates responsibility and will never volunteer is someone else has. Extremely self critical.
