movies/tv Is Littlest Pet Shop worth watching?

I just bought the first issue of the comic and it's got me interested. Being as almost all the voice actors of FiM also work on Littlest Pet shop is it worth watching?

Its depends on how you feel about it.  I've watched 2 episodes myself and its an "iffy", even though 90% of the cast came from MLP.

Well, I know that some members of the fandom like it and others hate it - a very mixed reaction.

You really should just see for yourself, though. If people didn't see for themselves, than bronydom wouldn't exist, keep in mind :D

So, yeahh - you really should just watch it and find out :D

I honestly just think it's a knock-off of MLP.

Hell, even one of the dogs' designs is LITERALLY a copy and paste of Twilight's design.

But this is coming from someone who's only seen very small amounts just because it airs after MLP everyday, and I'm sometimes too lazy to grab the remote and change it to something else.

Well... I have mixed feelings about this show.

Well it is cute! But it can get annoying.

It is totally worth a try!

It doesn't appeal to me that much, even though some of the actors from FIM are in it. The songs are a bit cheesy and so are some of the plots.

The show is more on the side of comedy and has a bit less thrown into character and setting development than MLP, so if you're looking for another MLP, I don't think you'd be in the right place. However, some episodes are pretty funny and it's a good watch when you have to kill time.

As for the characters being the same, you could say the same thing about Pound Puppies, it's been said that the Super Secret Pup Club was directly lifted from the Cutie Mark Crusaders, while others say the Crusaders themselves were ripped from the Powerpuff Girls. There are similar character archetypes all over the kids' cartoon landscape, what matters is how well they're developed.

Sometimes, if you're just looking for something to watch for 22 minutes, LPS will get the job done just as well. I just wouldn't see myself or anyone getting into it as much as MLP. Different shows do different things. I wouldn't compare them directly unless I felt there was reason to.

The show isn't that bad, but I watch the show as well. If you like the voice actresses from MLP, then you should watch it. I may suggest watching it more than 2-5 episodes before you say "i hate this" or "i don't like this" or anything like that. Some of the episodes can be funny though.

The show isn't that bad. I just think they thought they were just trying to copy FiM since that show had success. And I watched a bit of it, I thought it was neutral.

I saw one episode. It was called "Heart of Parkness". It was kind of good, but those girls chasing after the cobra were unrealistically exaggerated versions of a Rarity gone horribly wrong (I don't know of a word to describe them). I couldn't stand it.

EEeeeh.

I've watched the first two episodes, and while it was okay (and the theme song rather catchy), it almost felt like they had exhausted all plots of the show in the first two episodes.

So... you have two mean girls... and you've already got revenge on them.

What exactly are you going to do for the rest of the season?

That was my thoughts on the show.

But, really, I only watched two episodes. I say watch it for yourself.

For me, however, it didn't seem like something I could get into.

Well, yeah, It's kinda entertaining, I watch it from time on time. It's pretty evident it took some influences from MLP, considering that it's made by the same studio. It doesn't focus in character development, but in comedy and random plots, but it's not some taste like diabetes like G3 ponies.

I admit that the main reason I've started to watch it it's because of the pony actors, well, most of them are anyway: Since we got Ashleigh Ball , Peter New (Eeeeyup), Samuel Vincent (Flin), Tabitha St. Germain and Nicole Oliver as leading roles, with recurring ones voiced by THE GREAT, AND POWERFUL KATHLEEN BARR, and Shannon Chan Kent voicing three of them who interact frequently (Funnily enough, the twins are rich bitches like Silver Spoon  )

I've seen a few episodes.  It's kinda cute.  I didn't hate it, but I didn't love it.  I'd watch it if nothing else was on, rather than turn off the tv.
