Pluses:
The manga-style artwork fits in the franchise with a great contrast of light and dark. Plus, with the comic centering fillies, it has a very juvenile, upbeat feeling that would've looked
As funny as the previews were, not all of it was that impressive.

Great music, especially the romantic score.
Finely done animation, for the most part. However, I still find Trenderhoof's snappy walking a little awkward, but that's just me.
AJ's sarcastic accent is hilarious, and so is Rarity's southern voice (at first).

Why must the stars be so far away? Why are the so close, so vibrant yet misleading? I just don't get why or how they exist. They hold unmeasurable expectations and in the end are giant let downs. A giant ball of explosive gas, decaying over a period of time.

Well fillies and colts, it looks like I have a new favorite episode. Party of One has been knocked down to #2. Party of One was about Pinkie Pie's existential crises when she believes her friends have rejected her as friend and party pony. Well, this episode had that exact same basic premise, but with the schizophrenic party of inanimate objects replaced with Pinkie competing against "Weird Al" Yankovic.
