I have to say, this year it was a lot bigger than last years, even though the venue was a little smaller. with special guests; Andrea Libman (pinkie pie and fluttershy) and Peter New (big macintosh)!

Pinkie Pie struggles as a background pony, and during season 4 she has come across as just a mere comic relief. We seem to get too much of her, and wish she was toned down. Instead, when we get a whole episode featuring all of Pinkies shenanigans it turns out great. This is because we get a deeper look at her, and the writers are more open to explore her personality.

Another first, let's see what's in the comics this time. Just to summarize this; due to the nature of the comics this appears to be more a listing of pop-cultural references than anything else. There is actual worldbuilding going on, but it's buried under so many in-jokes that it's a bit distracting. So many references from the 80's that it's more indicative of the writer's backgrounds than anything. However, let's take a shot at this.

So, I work at a theme park under a particular art company. My boss is a really cool guy and all... until you work under him. I busted my rear for almost a year in management, only to not get a promotion after he decided to play favorites to one of my friends.
